.After getting quite a few estimates, we choose Air Vent Aluminum partly because they had a store location, even tho they were quite a bit more expensive. They were to start and complete the job in late fall. They did not show up as promised until 2 weeks later AFTER a snowstorm. When removing old roofing material a bunch of water damaged living room ceiling. After completion of roof, the 'ice shield' material that they had absolutely assured us would prevent all future ice d*** damage, we did have water leaks in 3 rooms do to this problem and gutters did not work as promised either. They (Air Vent) admitted that 'on hindsight' they did start the job to ate and shingles did not seal properly in the colder weather. We had additional leaking above our wood stove thru the ceiling and at the back porch line. We had repeated many phone calls, emails, etc. to inform them of the problems which they said had to wait for warmer weather to correct properly which we felt was right. Their insurance company did assess the damage and give us a check, but we felt the new insulation since was wet was now no good and that was refused to be 'fixed'.The Airvent Company also had to rip out the lower 4 foot across the whole front of our house and replace with new ply wood,, and supposedly, new ice shield, new shingles, etc. but since the roof has continued to leak in several areas in the front we are not sure they were replaced with new. I also had gone on roof after they had left and found several torn shingles evening have to tar one in place it was so bad. They finally just quit returning our phone callsand emails. We also had at one point received a 'PAST DUE' kurt notice of balance due with threat of court action, after bad leaks were evident, Air Vent was informed of them and inspected the damage, but BEFORE we were told the job was finished and balance due, we were not given a final bill, and BEFORE they addressed the leaks issue. (The contract stated final balance due at completion of the job.) A leaky roof in what was than 4 different rooms, to my wife and I did constitute a 'completed job'! Air Vent was paid all but $500.00 they agreed would be payment in full and we still feel ripped off.
If you are wondering, we had more water leaking in a front bedroom this winter (2013-2014) and the rear porch leaks only continued to get worse. What we we be experiencing in another 10 years?
Do NOT hire this company for anything! We are extremely sorry we did.

Air Vent and Aluminum were very punctual from the day they gave us the quote. The workers were timely, respectful of the property, and took their time with the project. They answered questions, offered suggestions, and took pride in their work. The work was done in four stages: windows, siding, huge deck, and an awning. The work was done in the timeframe which we were promised. We had a couple changes in the plan they were completed with no problems. I give them an and quot;Aand quot; in every category except quality. I had to give them a and quot;Band quot; because of some minor details which were overlooked.

I checked a few on Angieslist but most were too far away to want to try the job. I finally found one who was willing to work. They got the job done after a couple of calls. It was done on time and at the price they stated and no problems since then. Despite being initially a bit unwilling to work with me due to the distance, they did offer their services if I needed any other work done.
My main issue was the price. My guy's estimate was about $100~$150, all included. Air Vent's price was $450. I think they were firm on the price and I was out of other options. I probably should've fought more but was tired.
