Excellent! All painting to the interior of the house was extremely well done. Everything was moved & replaced with care, and the work areas were kept clean each evening. Badolato Home Improvement assisted with choice of paint and tile work needed for the bathroom, and the colors blended in perfectly. The exterior washing helped the house to look like new. They completed each project in a timely manner and offered very reasonable quotes. They are a pleasure to work with!

Bob and Cheryl were wonderful they were here on time, worked full days and cleaned up after themselves. The work turned out beautiful and we receive lots of compliments. They always explained what they were doing and why. They were honest and trust worthy, we even left them a key to our house when we were at work!

Fantastic--the one ceiling was tile, and now you cannot even see where the leak occurred. The other ceiling had a potentially dangerous crack. It was beautifully fixed and painted. They even went so far as to wash down the wallpaper and wash out the light fixture, which totally brightened the whole room. They were always on time, and worked so cleanly that they made the project very tolerable. They are amazing.

First of all i want to say they actually showed up!!! on time and on the day they said they would be there. I found with most others they say they're coming and they don't, sometimes you get a call but most times they just dont even give the courtesy. Bob and Cheryl were courteous and professional, the quality of work was amazing and i felt comfortable enough to leave them a key and have them work without me being home. Great workers!! Highly recommend!!

Bob & Cheryl are my go-to team for home improvements! They've gut renovated two bathrooms in my home, taking care of everything from start to finish. They've also power washed and painted the exterior of my home and restored my front door. All with wonderful results! Hiring Bob & Cheryl is a pleasure for so many reasons: affordable pricing, they're responsive and communicative, very reliable, dedicated to doing their best for you, and they'll think outside the box to conquer a renovation/restoration challenge. Not an easy quality to find! The best example I can give is my temperamental front door. It's original to my 1920's home and I love it, but it had been giving me lots of problems. I'd already been through one contractor who'd done a poor job and another who told me to just get rid of it, when I called Bob. We talked about different approaches and repair ideas, and thanks to Bob's careful restoration work I'm delighted to continue to open my beautiful, original front door to family and friends. Bob is a fantastic carpenter for any project, but my personal favorites are the custom made radiator covers that are in many rooms of my home. I should note that Cheryl's artist outlook and suggestions are the extra ingredient that really puts them at the top of my contractor list. Fantastic. If I could give a rating higher than A, I would. I selected Bob and Cheryl because of prior reviews and they did not disappoint. They are extremely talented, competent, professional, neat, and overall wonderful people. Now, whenever we have work that needs to be done around the house, we call Bob. He is our go-to guy for everything now.

We noticed leaks through to the basement soon after the work was completed. Water stands in the corners of the tiled floor after we shower as the slope is clearly incorrect. Fixtures in the bathroom are brass and the drain that was installed was chrome so instead of screwing down the drain cover, Bob 'glued' a brass drain cover. That came loose in a matter of weeks. We called Bob back to take a look at the leak and the standing water. We were told the leak was due to a cracked tile, and that it happened after, probably during the glass shower door install. After taking a a look at it, Bob advised he would available only after six months. We wanted it fixed and managed to get Bob to come back after several months since there was still water leaking through to the basement. He repaired one cracked tile, work that we paid for again, and for the floor to be grouted and caulked. The shower area however has continued to leak. The grout is coming off in a matter of days and water continues to collect. The glued down drain cover has come off. We finally called in other contractors and each one - four separate professional bath contractors - pointed to the poor quality of tiling, incorrect shower gradient that causes water to collect, bad grouting as well the incorrect installation of the drain cover. The issue may be even bigger for the leak under the tiling and we won't know unless we rip up the entire floor again to investigate which we will definitely have to do now. A very disappointing experience and very shoddy workmanship. Do NOT recommend.

When I made the decision to sell my cooperative apartment, I knew I had no choice but to update the kitchen and both bathrooms if I was to achieve anything resembling an acceptable purchase price.  I am not a handy person, nor do I have time to invest in learning such skills so, absent any solid recommendations from friends and family, I joined Angie's List in the hope of at least taking an educated gamble on who I retained to do this work, being very familiar with contractor horror stories and the extent to which one feels like they are rolling the dice with something as important as a home improvement.
I picked Badolato Home Improvement based primarily on proximity to my home and on the good review they had on Angie's List -- and this turned out to be a very lucky roll of the dice indeed.
From the very beginning, Bob came over, assessed the work I needed done and quickly provided me with a reasonable quote that matched another I had received.  I selected Bob's company based truly on a gut feeling about him and the level of commitment and integrity he would bring to the job.  In all the stressful decisions I had to make leading up to putting my apartment on the market, this turned out to be the best one.
Bob and his wife Cheryl delivered on our agreed-upon work schedule and, in some cases, exceeded milestones we had set on our timeline. Their work was consistently very high quality and I always felt like I could just walk away and come back when everything was finished because I had hired true professionals who would make everything look great.  And they really did, installing everything exactly as promised.
Cheryl's attention to detail in re-tiling my bathroom floors made them look amazing and a built-in wall cabinet Bob constructed from scratch in my bathroom boosted the utility and look of the entire room.
On a personal level, Bob and Cheryl were an absolute pleasure to have around.  I work from a home office, so I was present during most of the work and, if anything, Bob and Cheryl are so interesting and fun to talk to that I had to force myself to keep working because I spent so much time visiting with them!
Finally, a lot of the work done was very messy and I was amazed at how they hauled away all garbage and somehow found a way to make my home look even cleaner than it was before they started working that day.  They showed tremendous respect and care for my home and it was greatly appreciated.
Life is full of risk these days and picking a bad contractor can top the list of unfortunate life choices.
I would strongly urge anyone having work done on their home to consider Badolato Home Improvement.  If my experience is any guide, that's a no-risk proposition and you will be as happy a customer as I am!

Bob and Cheryl are professional, experienced and an absolute pleasure to deal with.  They care about their work and go the extra mile to ensure a terrific end product (and a happy customer).  I cannot recommend them highly enough and only wish I met them earlier!

Bob and Cheryl did everything exactly as agreed to in the "scope of work".  Work proceeded as scheduled (with adjustments for some big snowstorms). It was clear to me that they were quite experienced with methods and materials. These are reliable people who keep their word. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Now I have a sunny big "country" kitchen.

I was very pleased with the service.  It was not a big or complicated job but it was done quickly and efficiently and well.

I highly recommend them. They are here for the third time. They will continue to come back for everything I need. I have given them a key to my house. That is how terrific they are. There prices are reasonable and they are immaculate. If they are here and my dog needs to go out, they will take him out. The price will be half of what anybody else wants and double the worth. They are trustworthy. They did some grouting in my bathroom that I did not like and it was not wrong, they came out any way just to satisfy me. I am only using this company in the future. I am extremely satisfied with them.

Bob and Cheryl Badolato did a really nice job on our kitchen.  We installed IKEA cabinets, so we hired someone else to assemble and install the cabinets, but Bob & Cheryl and their people took care of everything else. We described what we wanted and gave them our time frame and Bob came up with a work schedule to minimize our time without a working kitchen.  A few days into our renovation, Hurricane Sandy blew by.  While Bob & Cheryl lost power at their own home, they showed up the day after the storm and continued to work on our kitchen making sure our timeline was not set back much.  When we noticed a few issues we were not happy with, Bob & Cheryl both worked to get things to our satisfaction.  Overall their work was very good and we are really thrilled with our new kitchen!  They are extremely nice, friendly, and trustworthy people and I would use them again for any renovation in our house.

Badolato Home Improvement did an excellent paint job of the bathroom--very neat and clean.  They even recommended the paint to use, and it turned out beautifully.  They cleaned up the work area every day upon leaving the site.  They were very trustworthy and a pleasure to work with.
The waterproofing job was done equally well; they even took time to plug up a a hole in the doorway leading to the basement that they had noticed, which was causing problems when it rained.  In addition, they firmed up an area by the doorway where the floor had rotted.  They went above & beyond just a simple paint job.  I was very impressed with their work and would definitely use them again.

I couldn't be happier!  They are excellent and very experienced (30 years) and licensed and insured.  Their work is fantastic and I plan on having them back in the spring to do more work.  I have recommended them to several people already, and will continue to do so.  I am THRILLED!!!  Trustworthy, excelent, priced reasonably for the area --just great!
