 + -1 moreWe've been using Kanches for about 2 years for general landscaping, but this year we asked the owner to do some significant work to our overgrown gardens. We could not be happier. Excellent work as always and VERY reasonably priced. Kanches took care of everything and now our formerly neglected gardens look beautiful. The owner is wonderful - he oversees all jobs and is warm and helpful. He even recommended a great driveway paving company and is in the process of finding us a reasonably priced plowing service. Very nice guy. If you're like me and don't want strange unfriendly contractors roaming about your house, you will feel very comfortable with Kanches.
Description of Work: Kanches has been taking care of our general landscaping for 2 years - lawn mowing, weed wacking, hedge trimming, leaf removal, and spring/fall clean-up. This year Kanches ripped out and replaced a few huge overgrown gardens that we had neglected for about 8 years. Kanches completely dug out the gardens, put down commercial grade weed mat, and put in low-maintenance plants that will look nice spring through fall. The owner recommended that we use stone in the new gardens rather than mulch because over time it will cost much less than buying mulch every other year. The stone will also makes it easier to pluck out or spray weeds. Kanches brought in a couple pickup truck loads of beautiful multi-colored stone, and we're thrilled with the results. Our gardens look beautiful again and should be very easy to maintain.
