 + -1 moreExcellent. Joe is my first choice for any kind of carpentry or repair job. I hope he is willing to come to Florida to help me there. Previously, Joe had completely renovated our large kitchen and did a super job. It is a knock-out. Joe seems to like to start 9:30-10 AM and work straight thru until about 4 PM. I pay him by the hour, so that is fine for me.
Description of Work: Got the house ready for sale by repairing and painting cedar siding, installed 3 gable vents, installing attic power vent, piped two bathroom vents to wall, installing 50' of insulated 4" pipe thru chimney to hot water tank, insulating floor in crawl space, adding breakers to electrical panel, adding gas shut off to fireplace, repairing nail pops on the roof, removing carpet, eliminating floor squeak, repairing concrete steps, etc.

 + -1 moreI like Joe Harrington very much. The quality of his work is excellent. I will definitely use him again. But I have managed contractors for years and understand how to deal fairly with changes. Several of my friends have used him where there were problems with what was included in his quote and what was not. If Joe uncovers hidden problems or if you ask him to do something extra, please be sure to ask him how much extra it will cost. Also realize he needs to work on other customer's emergencies. Establish working hours.
