They were on time, professional and they cleaned up afterwards very nicely. They also covered the landscaping (bushes, plants, etc) to protect them. My mother was given a 10 year warranty for the shingles. We were very happy with their work and would highly recommend them to others.

I called and someone called me back that same day. No pressure, did free estimate. Came to my home (roof was for our rental property) and explained everything to us, and gave us a quote. They were the third company I had talked to. One company was almost double in price, second company came in with slightly lower quote. We chose this company, because of knowing someone who personally recommended them and their upfront honesty. Since I did have two other quotes and had talked to two other companies, I knew what I was dealing with.
They did the job sooner than they said they could, did it faster than they said and cleaned up EVERYTHING! Totally impressed with them. Would absolutely recommend them. The roof has improved the look of the house 100 percent! Great Job!
I did not ask this question, but they do go by two different names and I do not know why. They also go by the name and quot;The Home Improvement Center.and quot; I could not find them on Angie's list until the salesman mentioned to look under River Side Door and Window.

The price estimate did not seem especially low or high when compared to the insurance company's write-up and another quote by a competing contractor. I went with this company because I've used them before.
The original aluminum siding had been painted and I had been concerned about the ability to make the new vinyl siding on only one wall look like it fit in - but the end result turned out really great, and I feel more confidant about the durability of this siding in strong winds.
We were in a bit of a time crunch, and the weather has been cold and snowy. Home Improvement Center completed the job quickly at the first break in the weather (with the job completed within two weeks of our approval to go ahead).
A couple of items concerned me when I reviewed the results, and Home Improvement Center came over the next day to fix these items to my satisfaction.
My ONLY small annoyance was in the cleanup. I was initially told to drive over and advise the men working on the house that I needed the nails and scrap removed from the driveway so I wouldn't get a flat tire pulling into the driveway after the project was done. I pushed back on my having to drive over there, and they did take care of cleanup of the driveway fairly well - considering the snow. I am disappointed that at least some of the nails and scrap, etc. was shoveled from the driveway onto the neighbor's lawn alongside the driveway (noticed this as snow started to melt). I will have to get out there and rake out scrap from his lawn as soon as the snow melts in order to not have to buy him a new lawn mower next spring, or to have to possibly re-seed that strip of lawn. (This was where I went down one point on professionalism - they were very professional, otherwise.)
Overall, I would use this company again and would continue to recommend them.

They came gave an estimate, I accepted. They came while I was at work - didn't even know they fixed it.

They are coming again to my house to repair something. They were the ones who repaired the gutters of my house and installed the door for me last year. They did a great job on everything. I recommend them very highly.

Home Improvement Center did a great job on our three layer tear off! Old home in the City of Buffalo, challenging, but they were up to it. Mark, our salesperson, was absolutely exemplary in his responsiveness; answered his cell phone every time! The crew foreman was great too! Work was done in a timely fashion, and they were neat and polite. The entire neighborhood was impressed; many people stopped to ask who they were. And, our roof looks beautiful. If there is any way getting a new roof that's not leaking can be a pleasure, it was with Home Improvement Center.

The job was performed sooner than expected. The workmen showed up on time each day, stopped to answer any questions I had and were exxtremely professional. They worked almost non-stop and did a beautiful job. They were very careful of the shrubs and tree. Any concerns I had were addressed immediately and to my complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company. I found their excellent report on Angie's List and want to pass it along to the next person looking for an outstanding Home Improvement Company.

I thought they were very good. I went over and watched because it was repairing the roof that was previously done by someone who did a terrible job. They did an excellent job. They also repaired some of the gutters. It was a terrible job that was done previously. They did a great job. They were very professional. They had a crew come out and got it done quickly. They were very prompt. Their price was a little higher than some of the others. I will use them again.

I felt they were a little more than I expected, though I didn't compare. I will call them back in future.

My husband and I determined that we wanted to have our house sided with Hardie Board. It was difficult to find someone to do this. One contractor could do the siding, but not the roof. Our neighbor recommended this company. Dana, the president, came and sat down and spoke with us to find out what we wanted. He then went back to the suppliers, for both the roof and the siding, to get the most up to date information. He sat down with us again, and totally explained the process. His price was very good, and as his company could perform all that was necessary, it was easy to decide to go with them. He was helpful in recommending colors and dropping off samples. His crew was very prompt, polite and neat. The roof was a mess, and they did a great job, including several little extra tasks that we were not charged for. They made an extra effort to have the dumpster removed for my daughters Junior Prom. The siding was very involved and the crew assigned to cut and install were very experienced and meticulous. The few issues we found were quickly fixed. The three windows we have were purchased to match to siding and Dana did a great job finding windows that would look good. Now that it is winter we appreciate the insulated windows. The final product looks great, neighbors and strangers have commented on it. The cost was substantial, but the finished product was worth it.

I think the price was good for the work that was done. They did what they said they were going to do on time. They cleaned up and followed through. They provide good service and good work at a fair price.

They were so good. They had a reasonable price. They were delightful. I would speak highly and recommended them. They were nice, neat and cleaned up after themselves. The roof is holding up nicely.

I called Jeff at Home Improvement Center because this company had done a complete tear-off roof a few years ago. Jeff gave me a ball park estimate of $600 that seemed reasonable. Jeff called quite a few places for matching 30-year shingles because no local companies had any. He did find them and and then he gave me a quote of $640.00and a contract within a week. They had to strip the shingles, strip the ice shield, cut the hole, attach the fan, replace the ice shield, felt paper and shingles. When he arrived the electrician who installed the fan hadn't left a pipe to the outside so the roofer went to Home Depot for a pipe. The job was done in just a few hours and the worker cleaned up so I couldn't see he had been here. Because he had to go buy the pipe there was an additional $12.00 charge, for a total of $652.00. From the outside I can't see where the new shingles are because they are a perfect match to the existing roof, and Jeff said the 30 warranty of the roof is still intact.

They were here for a day and a half. They picked up after themselves. They were very professional and we were very satifacied. They were very kind and couritous.

Salesperson was very professional. I received a detailed estimate of all work to be performed and an estimated start and finish date. The job was performed in a professional and timely manner. The crew was polite and cleaned upon a daily basis. Each of the five days the men worked on my house they were supervised by the representative from the company. They even replaced some damaged wood that was not covered by the original contract at no additional charge. I was very pleased with their work and would hire this company again.
