STUART M.
May 2014
We purchased a 1906 Arts & Crafts home that was in dire need of renovation. Because we were in a historic district, all the exterior work on the home had to be approved by the Historic Commission. We had some rare pocket windows that the Commission wanted us to keep, but no one could figure out how to make them energy efficient. Our architect recommended Joe. He figured out a way of doing it, and we were so impressed with his work that we hired him to do the rest of the renovations. He was required to duplicate old designs and re-use old materials. No job was too complicated for him. His cabinetry was remarkable and he was able to come up with solutions when others were stymied. He was on the job for several years and was unwaveringly cheerful. When the job was completed, we received a Preservation Award from the city.
We recommend Joe in the strongest possible terms.
