PETSCHKE HEATING & COOLING

After a 10 year relationship with Petschke Plumbing and Rich Petschke personally, I write this review to CAUTION you. Although friendly and has the appearance of caring for their customer's, our relationship came to an abrupt end when they sent inexperienced and belligerent workers to check why my boiler stopped woking last February. They know this house very well, I trusted them - and they took complete advantage of me. I was charged $1500 for an unnecessary repair on a boiler they had just serviced 4 months prior. After that, I received 2 months of $800 heat bills (for just one floor of my house) because of what they said was a faulty thermostat. They replaced (at no charge, like this was a big gift) only to have the same thing happen again. I fired them, (FYI, Rich Petschke is now AWOL in the winter as he likes to go South) hired NOCO and was just told (after a summer of not even using the boiler) that it was filthy and everything I was told me was wrong. I watched the man work myself. This will result in an additional $500 charge, bringing the total rip off to more than $2000. Friendly and available can be a front for absolute incompetence and a lack of respect, particularly for women. BE CAREFUL! You don't have to listen to me - but you should.

They are the best they are prompt, friendly, and very trustworthy.

I needed a new toilet, which I had considered installing myself, but I figured I would let the professions do it, just for piece if mind. I'm so glad I did. I called Petschke and they were able to come the next day. They gave me a 2 hour window, which the plumber showed up right in the middle of. The guy was knowledgable and professional. I'm glad I called them, and I will definitely continue to do so in the future!

Overall, it was not an unpleasant experience.

They came when they said they would and did a good job.

Petschke Plumbing came out and got the job done. They were great and I have no complaints. I would recommend them.
