We met Mike several years ago at the Home Show and had him come to our home to discuss the job we needed done. He arrived on time and explained everything with a fair quote. Since then, and over the past several years, we've contracted with Mike and Suburban Construction for many projects and have always been completely satisfied and happy with the results - from completely re-siding our house with new vinyl siding, renewing our front porch with composite flooring, adding stonework trim along the bottom of front, side and back of the house, re-siding and re-shingling roofs of two sheds, installing replacement windows in kitchen and living room...probably others I'm not recalling. Mike chooses the best product brands available for each project, and gives personal advice along the way. His crews are top notch - professional and highly skilled, personable, polite and respectful, and always go above and beyond with work, suggestions and advice. No matter how hot it is or how tired they are they completely clean up at the end of each day. The finished projects are always beautifully done, and they should all be proud of their stellar work. And not for nothing....they are as respectful as men wearing large work boots can be of your surrounding landscaping and flowers....construction "collateral damage" is minimal! During this past summer's latest project, one of the guys even helped me relocate my porch wreath, that held a robin's nest, to a quieter spot before the bow window was replaced!! (I replaced the wreath at the end of the day, mama robin came back, and babies started hatching the next day!) It's those extra little things that make a difference that make these guys so special!! After all, they're family men, too, and understand those random personal things that might be important to you. We highly recommend Suburban Construction for any project you need done, and not only would hire them again...we wouldn't look anywhere else! Mike came and gave us a prompt estimate and set expectations for when the job would be completed. We had to wait a little while to get the work completed, but the weather was a factor as well. Once they showed up the roof was completed first, as well as a flat roof over an addition, a second crew completed the siding. The job took a little over a week, but both crews were extremely professional and did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the day. We are very pleased with the results and would definitely contract with Mike again if we needed other repairs.

They were very prompt and professional in scheduling an appointment to come out to inspect our roof and give us a re-shingling estimate. However we decided to go with another roofing company that was able to schedule our job sooner.

It was great. He came in and gave us an estimate. It was a 20 minute deal and we explained everything he was going to do. The next day, he called and gave us an estimate. After we had shopped around, we called him back and we had a contract the next day to sign all the paper work was complete then sent it back to them. They had scheduled us for the end of May but they got an opening in our area so they decided while they were here, they would do us so we got done by a month early. The work was great and the people were great. They were done in a day and a half because they had a big crew who got it done. They were here before I was up.

They did good work and I'm satisfied with them. Their price was the lowest and they completed the work on time.

They helped us find a perfect match color-wise. They also gave us several options and prices from different manufacturers..
The installation took place during the time frame promised and two workers showed up on time to do the work.Because of the doors were over-sized, a third worker was sent to help with the actual installation while the other two did the prep work and finishing.
The work went extremely well. They took great effort to insure we were pleased with the finish work. Installers were polite and friendly. Mike, the owner, stopped by to see that everything was going according to plan. The site was left clean and all debris was removed.
We were very pleased with Suburban Construction from the time Mike came to provide us an estimate to the final installation. The quote was detailed and no down payment was required. Payment was requested at the satisfactory completion of the project.
We had several other quotes from other vendors some of whom had a "hard" sell , gimmick filled method of doing business. Mike and
Lou were straight forward with the scope of the project, the five year performance guarantee and price.

It was fantastic. We met Mike at the home show in Albany and after having about five companies (Sears and Home Depot included) give us estimates, we went with Suburban. Pricewise, they were almost right on par with some of the other companies but we loved his patience and knowledge on the product. We waited about a month and a half to get the work done due to the cold weather but once it began, the crew was on time every morning.
There were only three guys working but they did a good job. We had a few small issues that were resolved. I am sure that if we had more companies give us estimates we would have found it cheaper but in reality you do get what you pay for. I would definitely use them again in a heartbeat.
Also, we have noticed a significant improvement in the house in terms of warmth. Granted, it has been warmer but even in the beginning when they installed the windows it was still very cold out. I actually look forward to next winter to see how much we save on oil with the increased insulation with the windows, siding and insulation added to the attics.

I had pretty good service with them and my experience was very good. They showed up on time for appraisal and went through all the steps. When the workers showed up they did an excellent job on clean up and everything else, and they were done within the day just as they'd estimated. They didn't overextend the work.

We met the owner at the Clifton Park Home Show and had a good feeling about his company. We contacted him and a few other companies for estimates and decided to go with Suburban. They did a timely estimate and were able to schedule soon after we signed our contract.They were very professional and courteous. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards.

The Suburban crew was on time and worked constantly throughout the 2 days, despite the blistering heat. They did an excellent job on the new roof and left our property in excellent condition. They laid down tarps to catch the debris and cleaned up after, ensuring that there were no nails or other debris left in our yard. I would highly recommend them. They are scheduled to replace the siding on our house in a couple of weeks. I am confident that the siding job will go as good as the roofing job.
