Gifts
Sent a $70. food gift basket to my 92-year old mother for Mothers Day.
Reluctantly, my mother advised me that ALL of the contents in the basket were stale and old.
She tried everything but didn't finish any of it because nothing tasted good. My brother also
tasted everything and concurred with her assessment. They threw all items out after tasting each one.
Upon advising Sherry of this, she became defensive and said that she had never heard this kind
of a complaint before (oh, contrary, Sherry - read the internet and see what other people are saying
about stale items in food gift baskets).
I asked for a full refund (which my brother and mother both said I was entitled to as nothing was edible),
and was advised by Sherry that she would provide refund only if all contents were returned to her.
REALLY, Sherry? Obviously no items were returnable as EVERYTHING had to be thrown out.
I've done business with Sherry's Kitchen for years without a problem and this is how you treat
repeat customers? Too bad, as you just lost me as one and hopefully you will discontinue this practice
of sending stale and outdated food out in your gift baskets.
