 + 1 moreThey stole a sledgehammer and crow bar from my home, then left all their tools sitting everywhere for over a week until I placed them all outside and texted for them to pick them up. I was also instructed to purchase 250 pounds of thin set cement for the 150 sq ft kitchen. Those bags are still sitting in my dining room. Guess they could not take them to their next job after I installed the security cameras. They damaged a grate on the floor, made a mess everywhere. The workmanship is poor and sloppy. I looked online, but the sloppy crew of Micheal Durandt is well hidden behind the SDR name. After having problems with this crew someone referred my to Angie's List. I found a contract to fix the damage and finish the floors for a much more reasonable price with higher quality work. Thank you, Angie's List! I'll submit pictures shortly.
Description of Work: SDR is also known as "Michael Durandt Construction" on the side of his truck. The payment was made to SDR. Don't hire this person or his sloppy, dirty crew. They dry walled a ceiling and the mudding was sloppy and incomplete. They tiled my kitchen (150 sq ft) and powder room, super sloppy, grout everywhere, including tracked through the house onto the floors I recently had sanded and stained. Never finished the job, didn't level the kitchen floors and let me know AFTER the expensive tile was placed. Tile was unfinished and they did not install the thresholds. They did a sloppy job painting and my security camera in my home showed his painter using one paint brush and slopping on a coat in 15 minutes, getting paint everywhere and then spending the day smoking cigarettes and hanging out. Total mess.
