I hired Bass Plumbing to do a few tasks for a bathroom renovation. One job entailed reinstalling my toilet after having the bathroom floor retiled. Their service technician decided it would be appropriate to install my toilet on a flange that was not bolted to the floor in ANY way. I discovered this issue after the toilet starting to leak from too much movement (because it wasn’t bolted to the floor), breaking the wax seal. When I called to complain, they explained that yes, the technician probably should have mentioned (really?!) that the flange wasn’t properly installed, but as flange installation was not on his list of jobs to complete at my house, he bore absolutely no responsibility for the condition of the flange at toilet installation. They would come install the flange properly, but I would need to pay for it. They would reset the toilet again for free. I agreed to those terms as long as it wasn’t going to cost $200 or some other ridiculous amount. Any guesses as to the amount they charged to bolt a new flange to the floor? $175 + tax. After a quick, charged conversation with the office where everyone was annoyed and angry, a $100 charge was agreed upon. Thus far,I can’t find anyone who thinks that a PLUMBER installing a toilet on a flange not bolted to the floor is acceptable, but if you’re that person, then Bass Plumbing will probably be a good fit for all your plumbing needs. If, however, you think there is even a small chance that, like me, your plumbing needs will require someone with initiative, problem solving, or the ability to deviate as needed from a pre-decided task list, keep searching.

Not as though it matters but they need to restructure their Customer service , put a consistent pricing model together , last use a more efficient employee screening structure, Service to me is the one thing I look for especially when I do have a issue with the service not to be told problem has been taking care of then being thrown in the trash can, I hope you do take this and the other reviews serious , because you have impeccable timing when I called, the guys that ran gas lines and installed my kitchen stove were Great! Told what the price was before hand ,When they left I was in lala land, Unfortunately I would never use you again , your customer service left a bad taste in my mouth,it's not about the job but about after the job how this was handles by your C.S. if it wasn't for how the CS handled this I most likely would of used you again would I recommend anyone here to use your company Absolutely ( everyone deserves another chance) no one is perfect but I hope you will look at my reviews and others and improve your service and pricing guidelines and how you hire your employees because this last technician was nothing in the ballpark like the first 2 guys were ( I'll leave that as that)

That experience was good. They did the job good. They are honest and professional. They get the work done.

I have dealt with this company in the past and they where prompt and efficient so I called them again. They arrived the same day to access the problem. They replace replaced the expansion tank and the release valve that day . Unfortunately they were just the symptoms and they had to return the next day to replace the fill valve which failed and caused the initial problem. All the repairs they did would have had to been done regardless. They where prompt and courteous The repair where done correctly . I would have hope that they could have realized that the fill valve was faulty on the 1st visit saving me a return visit. I did not have other estimates so I don't know whether or not the price of the repairs was the going rate or not but does seem a bit high to me.

We decided to use them on the basis of availability. They were supposed to come back and do the rest of it for $100, but they wanted to charge us an additional $750 when they got back. They did not keep to the schedule and they didn't show up several times. They were overpriced and did not stick to their quoted price. They were uncooperative. We actually had to get the work redone. It was a very poor experience. I wouldn't use them again, not even if my life depended on it.

This is the plumber that our builder used to install all our plumbing and who we have called with any issues to our systems. Although most was covered under warranty, our basement pump stopped working in the height of a many day rain storm a year after our warranty expired. Even though it was on a holiday and during this busy time they responded very quickly and fixed it in no time. We also had an emergency pipe leak and they responded within an hour of our call. Talk about service! They men who respond are all very helpful, very knowledgeable and very professional.

It went well. They always seemed to know what they were doing. It seemed a little pricey, but I don’t know that they were more expensive than other places

They were very professional and they came out on time. We had 3 visits from them and each time they were here either on time or called us to let us know that they wouldn’t be here. They completed the job. We had one problem and they came out immediately to fix it. They were very good and very quick. Their price was very good.

I spoke with the owner, Steve, requesting a second opinion on a camera scope of our sewer drain that had been conducted in the process of purchasing our home. He and his staff patiently listened to our story and he spent time clarifying to make sure he understood the problem. He reviewed our video tape, and called me with his recommendations and an estimate. It did take longer to complete the work than we had hoped, (they had to cancel because of an ill call) but Steve actually came out himself, as promised, 2 days later despite a heavy snow the evening before. We waited about 10 days total from our initial call. The work was completed, and he cleaned up. He was not able to unclog the floor drain, but it was not critical to the functioning of our system. The job was billed by the hour, and he did work diligently for the duration of the time we had paid for.

THEY'RE VERY NICE AND PROFESSIONAL. IF I CALL A COMPANY AND GET A HUMAN BEING THEN I WILL HIRE THEM. WITH THIS COMPANY I CALLED AND GOT SOMEONE ON THE PHONE, NOT A MACHINE. ITS ALL ABOUT CONVENIENCE, IF THEY CAN WORK WITH MY SCHEDULE THAN I WILL HIRE THEM AND THIS COMPANY WAS VERY CONVENIENT.
