On August 18, 2015, Rockwell Paving repaired my stairs but wanted payment of in full (Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars) before they completed the job of sealing my driveway. On August 18, 2015, against my better judgement, I paid Scott Rockwell in full and he signed a written contract to finish the job. Said contract states, among other things, that "on Thursday, August 20, 2015, the Driveway will be finished by Mr. Rockwell". The edges of the driveway were not sealed; it appears from the bucket they left that they simply ran out of sealant. After complaining to Rockwell Paving, one of the Rockwells (most likely Bob Rockwell) came to my home on August 25, 2015, placed a small amount of sealant on a portion of the driveway, and left a rude message on my answering machine that I should "stop jerking him around", that there whomever put up retaining wall removed the blacktop at the edges of the driveway, that he wants Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars to complete the job, and he would have explained this to me if I answered the door when he rang the bell and knocked on the door; of course we were not home when he rang the bell and knocked on the door.
Description of Work: On or about August 17, 2015, Rockwell Paving and I entered into a verbal contract to repair my steps and to reseal my driveway. I have used them twice prior to this recent agreement and I have recommended them to others many times.
