We were without heat for 5 days. All the major local companies (Roland J. Downs, Grasshopper, Mohawk) were giving us the runaround. Had Grasshopper look at it and they quoted us $1,500 to replace the blower (induction) motor. We said no thanks. Found a fellow Mom on Facebook group and she recommended Tom. Tom answered my call immediately and arrived within 10 minutes. It literally took him 30 minutes to replace a component on the motor that he happened to have on hand. He saved our family $1,400. We could not be more grateful. Thank you, Tom.

He is very reliable. He has been really good at coming on short notice in emergencies. The price was good.

I called, he was able to schedule what was intended to be a preventative maintenance visit about two weeks later. Although this was intended to be preventative maintenance, he found a few problems to fix. He seems to have a good sense of what is worth doing and what is best left alone. The work took all day, from 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM or so. I did have to call him back for again for the burner assembly (one of the pilots didn't stay lit - was apparently in a gray zone when he inspected, turned out it needed replaced.) He was able to come out that same day. Very professional, polite, and knowledgeable, I will hire him again when my heaters need work or maintenance.

First-rate in every way. It was December in the Northeast. Our heat pump was working marginally, due to worn-out parts in the air handler. Pennock was able to solve a problem that had baffled others. We were uncomfortably cold, and now we are comfortably warm. We could not be more satisfied.
