perfectly, no hassles, explained to me what my best price options were, told me how to size the furnace correctly and they had the best price. I got on their waiting list and had a new Payne furnace in about one week. They did excellent tin work to match up the existing duct work with the newer, smaller footprint furnace, just great workmanship all around.

They have a 24 hour switchboard. They are very prompt in responding. They are very nice people and they know what they are doing. They have been in the business for over 70 years.

They're on Angie's List and were also recommended to me by friends that I trust. It was $860 approximately, which was quite a bit lower than the original estimate. When they came to give me the estimate some of the things I had been told previously by the other company were incorrect, which I didn't realize. Also, they came with their sales manager, who is also an engineer, one of his associates and two workmen to give me the estimate. They went over my heating system so thoroughly.

Long Energy is a deceptive and dishonest business which no one should use. The Long Energy technician offered us two options after he examined our older AC system: (a) replace the fan motor and capacitor in the outside condenser unit or (b) install a new AC system. We chose to replace the condenser parts and, after paying the technician almost $760, the AC only lowered the temperature in our home by 1 degree from 80 to 79 in almost eight hours, ran continuously, and never reached the thermostat set temperature of 75 degrees. The technician returned the following day, claiming that the unit needed about $140 worth of refrigerant. It still didn't function any better than the previous day. After speaking to the owner, Mr. Robert Long, we were only offered a nominal refund of less than $30. We, eventually, bought a new AC system from another company.

they were short staffed for a couple of days but sent someone to assess the situation .  The new water heater was installed the next day..a first rate job.  Rich was professional , personable, proud of his work, took time to explain what he was doing.

I like them. I still use them. I haven't had any bad experiences with them. They have always been a good provider. We pay for a package that includes the check on the heating system.

As above this final visit went well and I will know in a few months if the leak was actually repaired.

They seem to do pretty good work. I have an annual contract with them that includes the cleaning, inspection, adjusting, and discount on work if anything has to be done besides that. I pay $125 for each system.

They were really good about fixing my furnace. It was end of October 2011. I have a maintenance contract that is about $300 dollars a year. Even if the furnace goes out in the middle of the night or early morning, they are here within an hour and they work the night. They do not charge anything extra. This comes under the maintenance and that is wonderful. That is the maximum amount I have because at my house everything breaks for no reason, I get the best contracts. I would recommend them to others. I use them at my rental house too. They also bring the propane to my rental house. They are very good. When the furnace goes out, they never call me until they run out. I call Long and they will make it as quick as they can within 24 to 36 hours even if it is not a delivery day over there, they will deliver it for me anyway. They are really good about that. They do not make me wait. They will be exactly at the time they possibly can. I do like the way they bill. I do like their billing department. I plan on using them long term.
