JOHN RISTO

Mr. Risto (along with James Cullen III) is a scam artist, a cheat and a fraud. Senior citizens are their favorite prey. Mr. Cullen totally ruined my driveway for which I was awarded $1500 judgement in civil court, and which Risto and Cullen have no intention of paying. Mr. Risto deliberately over stated the size of my driveway resulting in an overcharge of over $1200. Mr. Clullen "skim coated" the driveway to improve his take. Mr Risto "predated" the invoice to make the invoice appear to be a signed proposal. This is  fraud. If the N** police had any interest at all in consumer fraud, Mr.  Risto would have a lot more to worry about than a $1500 civil judgement. Hire this contractor at your own risk.

His manner was okay when he came out.  He didn’t give us a written estimate.  He gave us a proposal after they did the job.  It was verbal.  That I think is our own fault.  One thing he said he would do, verbally was, that he would dig out some two feet from the garage and then two feet up the street and he didn’t do that.  Now we have a hump going into the garage.  He killed parts of our lawn with kerosene; we just replanted some of that.  He told us he was going to put two and a half inches and then in the proposal he gave us after, he put two inches.  It looks terrible.

THEY DID WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO DO. IT HAS HELD UP AND IT WAS DONE NEATLY. THEY WERE HERE AND DONE VERY QUICKLY. IT TOOK MOST OF THE MORNING TO COMPLETE THE JOB. I WAS HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS.
