Excellent. I purchased most things from the Bassett Showcase at wonderful sale prices. The mattress and boxspring were excellently priced. I was able to use a special Huck Finn coupon to save some additional money. I used the finance program that was available at that time with no interest accrued for 1 year. All was delivered on time and everything was placed where I wanted in my bedroom and living room. Everyone was extremely helpfull, all sales people and delivery guys. A great experience!

On 6/3/12 I had a desk put on layaway. I was not told the desk would come to my house unassembled. I purchased the desk on the phone 7/7 and once again was not told anything about the desk not being assembled. I get the bill and I see in big letters that assembly is my responsibility. I had no idea. I called on Sunday 7/15 to ask what the assembly charge would be. I talked to shipping -- he had no idea. He referred me to customer service. She has no idea. She referred me to the desk department. He had no idea. They told me to call the office Monday morning. That was 18 minutes wasted. I cancelled the order. Huck Finn's customer service team called me on Monday, 7/16/12. The woman on the phone told me that, because it is a special item, if I want a refund, I would lose 50% of the purchase price. This information is not printed anywhere in their documentation. I spoke to another individual. He repeated the same false information. I asked for the item to be delivered to me without being assembled. A nice man in their sales office later called, apologized for the misunderstanding and offered me free delivery. Nice, but it took an hour on the phone and talking to six people to get to that point. I would strongly recommend not buying from this place unless you can pick up the item and assemble it.
