These two gentleman were very professional and courteous and most importantly very respectful of my property handling everything with most care. They explained how everything works and insured me if there's a problem they will be there to straighten out. was told it would take 24 hrs. it took a week. the graphics card we wanted failed. another was unavailable and would take a week to ship in. settled for another , inferior graphics card. when I picked up the item I was not shown any kind of remorse from anyone @ the above problems. I was not shown that the graphics card was working properly. also the newly implemented system of signing up foran appointment is deeply flawed, illogical and is even at this early time being circumvented at every opportunity, just to keep people nfrom waiting lomger... a bad idea poorly executed. the employees seemed exasperated and there seemed to be nobody in charge of anything. seat of the pants was my impression start to finish. but, as they know, its the only game in town...so ....

It went very well. The salesperson at Best Buy helped me through the pluses and minuses of the laptops that I was looking at.  he was patient and clear. I felt no pressure. I bought an Office Suite and Security program which he had his geek squad install and test.
They were only a few minutes late from the promised pick-up time.

The price was reasonable.  It was a good experience and I got something that I liked and I picked up a microwave.  Then the only thing that was bad about it was that it seemed everything went wrong with the particular product that we wanted.  It took forever to get it because there was one problem after another trying to get the thing.  It was an open box for starters and that’s why it was cheaper but it was missing a piece.  So then they went to another box and pulled a piece out.  There was another problem of finding the item in the stock.  I was there for probably two hours just trying to check out to buy it.  Based on the whole experience it was a night mare getting out of there.  The guy had to get his manager for everything.

Called Geek Squad hotline & arranged a time for the service; was informed of the agent's name to do the service.
Mr Bennett called the morning of the appointment to inform me of his approximately arrival; called again to inform me that he was on his way. He arrived as scheduled, greeted me professionally, covered his shoes with booties & proceeded to the computer room.
I told him the problem and he proceeded to explain the repairs he could make and any costs. He worked on the computer for an hour and a half, explaining what he was doing each step of the way.He was very professional, courteous & friendly throughout the process.
He made sure that everything was working before leaving. He told me to contact him if I had any problems in the future. This was a great experience, since I am mostly computer illiterate. I am very pleased with the results & especially with Mr Bennett.

Best Buy's repairmen were unable to transfer data in either computer. After paying for another company to do it (at a cheaper price) we find that the difficulty in the transfer was related to Norton's GoBack feature which had to be disabled for the transfer to occur. The serviceman who performed the service at the other company said that anyone who has been around for a while would recognize the problem easity. Too bad Best Buy doesn't have an experienced computer person on a 1 -800 number that their service people could have contacted to help solve this problem. There was a lot of needless stress and frustration caused by Best Buy's inexperience. We didn't know if they had lost our data or damaged our hard drives on the old computers. All they would say is that we could "send the drives out" for a charge of at least $250 each. Since the Norton products are so common, one would think that someone on Best Buy's repair staff would have run into this before!

IT WAS A LITTLE STRANGE I GUESS, I THINK THAT THEY BROKE THE COMPUTER BECAUSE ONCE THEY EVALUATED IT, IT HAD THINGS WRONG WITH IT THAT WEREN'T PREVIOUSLY WRONG WITH IT. THEY QUOTED A PRICE TO FIX IT THAT WOULD HAVE COST AS MUCH AS BUYING A NEW COMPUTER, SO I SAID FORGET IT. I CAME BACK TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND WHEN THEY EVALUATED IT AGAIN, IRONICALLY, THEY FOUND THE PROBLEMS WEREN'T THERE. OVERALL IT WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

IT WAS VERY GOOD. THEY CAME PROMPTLY AND WE DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT TWO OR THREE WEEKS UNTIL THEY INSTALLED EVERYTHING. THEY'RE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WENT RIGHT TO THE JOB, NO MESSING AROUND. THEY DID EVERYTHING QUICKLY AND PROMPTLY AND THEY GAVE A CALLBACK NUMBER.
