D & R Paving

Everything went smoothly.  All the workers were polite and answered any questions I asked.  All in all a good experience.

I had a lot of cracks in the driveway which had to be fixed. The price was fair to what he did. They were very personable and very helpful. They work with good quality. The repairs is holding up well.

Prompt written estimate that was more detailed than the other three I received.  Estimated price to what was promised on the estimate was the best of the three estimates I received.  Work was scheduled and completed promptly.  The trouble with blacktop is it is very hard to know if you are getting exactly what was quoted.  For instance when they say 6 inches of stone - how do you know you're getting 6 inches of stone and not 4.5?  In the end you have to trust the folks doing the work and hope it works out.
Finished driveway looks decent but I'm not too keen on a couple visible lines where the separate passes were made with the paver.  I  wish they weren't there and I hope they fade with time. 
All in all, no pressure, no hassles, good job - I'll let you know in 20 years what kind of quality I really got.

Great service.  D&R is not the least expensive company; however, they were very professional and offered a warranty for their service.  We obtained quotes from 6 different companies and contracted with D&R.  The driveway looks fabulous and we are extremely happy.

D&R did good work.  We got their name from a company that specialized in sealing and in their opinion, the driveways D&R paved were among the best based on their sealing work.

It went very well.   I was out of town when the work was completed.  The driveway is beautiful.  Anxious to see how it does this winter.

They gave us a prompt estimate at our convenience. Performed the work when they said they would and we love the way the driveway looks. We were very pleased with their responsiveness and professionalism. It makes a big difference in the appearance of our home.

They were punctual and neat with the asphalt.  However, the driveway has some twigs paved into it and seams that are noticeable, and their machinery caused a large crack in the concrete of my garage (they left the garage very muddy, too).  I called to discuss my concerns and set up a time for the owner to meet with me.  He did not show up and my telephone calls were not returned. 
I had been very impressed with his professionalism when he provided the quote, but very disappointed with the follow-up.  He did deliver what he promised.

The process was very smooth and fair.  The estimate was done quickly.  The office and owner were very patient with me making many calls to them asking various questions.  They accepted a $100 coupon from Angies list that I had at the time.  The job was done by about 10 men, all very professional and working hard the entire time.  It was a 1-full-day job.  They had me go out with them before the job to go over exactly where the driveway would go with spray paint.  They did what they said they were going to do.  The layers were the proper number of inches as stated in the estimate (I was home and watched closely).  They gave us instructions on how to care for the driveway and maintenance.  The seam to the garage and the driveway edges are perfect.  There are no puddles and water runs in the proper and pre-discussed directions.

They were really good, efficient, and their price was average. They were friendly and did good work.

The job took one and a half days..  Both days the crews arrived promptly very early in the morning and started work immediately.   It took most of the first day to dig out the old driveway, grade and install the gravel.  The second day they fine graded the gravel and did the two coats of paving. 

Despite the narrow driveway, overhanging tree branches and utility wires, and a large air conditioner unit right next to the driveway, everyone on the crew was very careful and professional and despite the size of the trucks and paving equipment there were virtually no problems with any damage - the exception being a couple of small broken branches.  They also did an excellent job cleaning up after the job was completed, both on our property and the street in front of our house.

Overall I think they did an excellent job and I am very pleased with the results.  I would certainly use them again and not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else in need of a quality asphalt paving job at a reasonable price.

Dan Boothe came and gave an estimate in a timely manner. His estimate was a little higher than the cheapest, however I totally trusted Dan and the job he was explaining he would do. His team came,were very professional and did a quality job.

THEY WERE EXCELLENT. THEY RETURN PHONE CALLS AND THEIR WORK IS EXCELLENT. THEIR PRICES ARE COMPETITIVE. THE PEOPLE THAT CAME OUT WERE VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. I TOLD THEM WHAT I WANTED AND THEY DID IT.
