All went extremely well. I had some special issues that I needed addressed with slope and transitions. They handled all professionally and expertly. I have been able to watch the results for over a week and it seems perfect. I can't overemphasize the quality and professionalism of the work. I feel like I have a roadway for a driveway! In addition, the attention they paid to smallest things like hand-compacting the asphalt sides and cleaning up stone and asphalt was very gratifying.

A section of the top of our driveway had been sucked into a sinkhole. We thought the entire driveway would have to be removed and redone. But we were told that would not be necessary and it would not look like it was patched.
D&R dug it out filled it in and resurfaced our entire driveway. They arrived at the appointed time with a full crew and equipment. The work was done in a matter of three hours. They did an excellent job, the driveway looks brand new.

I have waited a year to better review the results of the work performed. We were in need of a new driveway and took this opportunity to grade and better drain the area. Dan was able to plan and execute the job with total professionalism. I admit I tend to be a somewhat anxious consumer, but the entire team at D & R kept me informed during the process.
A year later the driveway is flawless and water runs in the direction intended. Nicely done.

"I apologize for your less than satisfactory experience. With regard to the step that was chipped, we discussed this, and decided that considering the age and condition of the concrete, that mortaring the missing piece into place was the best course of action. With regard to your trees/bushes that were overhanging the driveway, the only other options would have been to leave them, and have branches and debris rolled into the asphalt, or to narrow the driveway so as not to be under the shrubs. It is generally our stance that shrubs grow back, asphalt doesn't. And finally, I did, as owner of the company, immediately visit the job site, and saw nothing (including the concrete repair) that was not as it should be. The vast majority of our reviews are straight A's, and I greatly value our impeccable reputation on this site as well as many others. I was very happy with them. They sent a team of about twelve guys and they were extremely professional. We're going to do some more work later and we will definitely use them. They were outstanding. They had all kinds of heavy equipment. They did a wonderful job. They were about $2000 less than the high bid that we got. The amount of equipment and number of people they bring to the job is what stands out. They're not a fly-by-night operation. They're do the job. They were well received by other Angie's List reviewers. I looked at the top three reviewed on Angie's List and D & R was one of them. They did a fabulous job. It's holding up extremely well. I'm completely satisfied. I would definitely plan to use them again without hesitation.

They were excellent in listening to the needs of grading and repaving my driveway. They had the best price, and were quickly responsive to inquiries. The crew was very polite and worked very efficiently. They actually went out of their way to ensure my request to have the driveway done before winter officially set in was met (despite the early season cold snaps). As far as paving goes, my driveway was a small job, but Tim treated us with respect and a level of professionalism that I would expect to see with a large client. Thank you!

They did an awesome job. They were very neat with the work, they came when they said they would, and the final price was what they had quoted. I would recommend them. They were competitively priced and I really appreciated that they stuck with the estimate. The only drawback is we did have to play phone tag for a while and that occurred initially.

They responded to our call for an estimate immediately and scheduled the work shortly after we chose them to do the work. They worked efficiently and cleaned up very well. There was a delay after they excavated and put down the stone base and when they returned to put down the new asphalt of about two weeks. They told us the date they would return, called to postpone by one day, then did not return for three business days. When we called them, they said their equipment broke down. They then came on the day they said they would to finish the job.
