My indoor cat appeared to have worms, so I called Central Vet and as a new patient they were able to get us in that day. My cat was terrified and the staff was so gentle with him that it made me feel better. They were very knowledgable, communicated to me the best course of treatment for the cat and I was given an estimate to look over before they began treatment. Great vet would definitely recomend them.

Great.
They said I could drop my long hair cat off between 7:00am-8:30am. I was there at 7:10am, and they were a little late opening the doors, but I didn't wait too long.
They only do lion style grooming, but the groomer did offer me a choice of how dramatic an execution I wanted for the cut. The groomer was very friendly and instantly put me at ease.
In addition to grooming, they provided a check up, and to put the cat at ease had to perform anesthesia for the grooming services.
They did call my contact number to let me know when the cat was ready.
When I picked up the cat, I waited about 10 minutes and the cat was brought into a small consultation room, where the vet explained the services performed, the health of the cat, and gave some pointers on how to improve his weight.
All in all, very convenient, $195 was a bit more than I would have liked to have spent, but for the convenience and professionalism, I can live with it. I will definitely use them again, even though there are other vets much closer to me.

The groomer was very nice who I interacted with for a few moments. The reception staff was rude. They explained that they may need to sedate the cat and began to provide me with a outrageous 'possible' estimate for bloodwork and other required testing (just in case). Luckily, I had the cat's records including rabies vaccination with me, and the staff still had to call my vet's office for the other info. Calling my regular vet's office (no grooming there) was an extreme inconvenience, and they let me know it. None of this was previously told to me. The staff was supposed to call me when the cat was ready, and they did not. I called at 4:30pm, and she had been ready for quite some time. I was told she had an ear infection and was given a prescription. No vet came out and spoke to me. The cat was groomed fine. The staff was a bit more attentive and pleasant in the late afternoon. Overall the cat was treated fine, but please remember the owners actually pay the bill.

First, one of our dogs was diagnosed with low thyroid and put on meds for life. Since leaving and finding another vet, that diagnosis has changed. Our new vet did more comprehensive tests (which did not cost more at all) and took her off the meds. At utmost importance is my most recent and last experience. We brought our dog in for what we thought was a bloody nose, and after a series of ineptitudes and expenditures we put our dog down due to cancer. This is now 6 months in the past, and I feel enough time has past to write an emotion free account of the care. At the first appointment I was told three options: X-ray, MRI and/or a scope of the nose performed by a professional. The Vet did not recommend any particular option, but said she would send in the office manager with an estimate. The office manager returned with an estimate for professional scoping - which I assumed was what the Dr. ordered. We returned in a few days for the scoping, however at that time the specialist said we should have taken a picture first. We paid for the incorrect visit and the anesthesia. We then paid for the X-ray, but that did not get us any closer to a diagnosis or a decision. As our pup began to get progressively worse, our frustration level increased and the staff responses were judged to be poor considering the circumstances. We paid for appointments that were unnecessary in the treatment and eventual euthanasia of our dog. My wife and I feel that we were not treated with a level of care or understanding that would reflect the price we pay for our animals. Are we critical customers? You bet. Are we the most responsible pet owners? No, we make mistakes. Are we disgruntled report writers? Yes, but I will immediately write a positive report about our new vet. Since leaving Central Vet, we have found another local vet that was highly recommended by our neighbors. We are now paying approximately 30% less and are receiving a significantly higher level of care and compassion. Our animals are examined while we are in the same room. We feel much better for switching.

I had found a stray cat and took her to the vet that we have used for years to help get her back in proper shape. They have good people working there and their love of animals once again was evident. They did a great job with a scared little cat, who is now a member of the family, and I highly recommend them.
