Went well. They were able to have the mirror cut and available that day.

I picked up my item on Monday when the store opened. They actually let me in before the store was opened. I was planning to install the seal myself so Al Loya who has 30 years experience in the glass business, took the time to explain to me exactly how to remove the old seal and install the new. I highly recomend.

At the last minute we contacted Capital Valley Glass about replacing some screens. They were very accommodating. We dropped them off on our way to work and they were ready that afternoon. What great service.

AMAZING!! I first spoke with Mike at 9:30am on a Monday morning (no one likes Mondays). He was very nice and super helpful. We made a same day appointment for 3pm. Forecast called for rain and my husband was headed out of town for work. We were going to drop it off early so it was there prior to the rain. Plans quickly changed due to some health issues I am struggling with. I was unable to bring the car. Luckily my husband was not to far into his business trip and he was able to come back and get the car in. When he got there with the car and explained the situation they jumped right into action! They gave my husband a ride back to the house so he could get back on the road and they could fix our window. At 12pm out doorbell rang. 2 very kind gentlemen were there to deliver my car with a fixed window. Wow!! Over and beyond!!

First attempt at replacement did not go well the windshield separated from the frame at the top drivers side of the windshield on my way back to work, daylight was visible through the gap and I was able to plug it with their business card.  Since it was late Friday afternoon when the work was finished I was not able to bring the vehicle back but my phone call was answered by an answering service and the shop called me back promptly the next morning to schedule another appointment.  Only negative on the call back was telling me that the separation could not happen, I let their business card in the gap to illustrate that it did indeed happen.
Return visit on June 6th went well, very courteous service with apologies.  Explanation was that the first windshield was defective - non OEM parts used.  Second windshield was installed at no extra cost and is holding with no air or water leaks.
I used this shop because it was AAA approved and because of safety issue associated with airbag inflation and proper windshield replacement.  Overall it was not a bad experience but having the truck off the road for a week was an annoyance, more due to my schedule than theirs but the repair should have been done correctly the first time.  I would have waited and paid much more to have an OEM windshield installed at a Ford dealer to avoid the lost use of the vehicle and time lost in travel to the shop.

From my first contact with Barb to having Al install my windshield it was a great experience. This company Honors Veterans with a discount and has a very friendly and honest staff. I give them a great recommendation.
