The design was incredible and perfect for the spaces.  Everything they promised they delivered.  The cabinets are top quality,  Most importantly they did not rush me in making decisions, returned calls, provided samples and gave advice when asked.   I worked with Michelle who is extremely talented and made important recommendations in the design.  We had used her for our bathrooms ten years ago and for our kitchen this year.  So much depends on the contractor and their relationship with the designer and the cabinet people.  We had the perfect combination of people working for us.

The cabinets were delivered way in advance of the renovator's deed to install them. We had to store them in our garage and were worried about mold and having them warp. Also, the sales rep., who we thought was going to help us with properly sizing the cabinets and making suggestions as to where to place cabinets to make best use of of the space available, was disinterested during the process.

We worked with Michelle at Builders Kitchens, and I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in renovating an existing kitchen or working on a newly constructed house. She was patient, knowledgable, and quickly understood our needs and design style. Our kitchen is gorgeous!! Our general contractor did not coordinate things on the job site well among subcontractors, and Michelle still managed to get the job done and help us through the process. While we would not hire that general contractor again, we will absolutely work with Michelle and Builders' Kitchen for all of our future kitchen and bath needs.

Peter was our main contact- he was great! He was friendly- which was not something I encountered at most other kitchen remodelers. He was patient with my numerous questions. He took care of the one small problem we encountered, and was very concerned that we were satisfied. I whole heartedly recommend Builder's kitchen! We used Kim Lincoln as our contractor. He also did an amazing job- taking down walls, making our upstairs open concept- great workmanship and attention to detail. Our kitchen, dining room and living room are just what I envisioned!

BKI did an excellent job on my kitchen renovation. Peter was my main contact person. He helped me work from my original sketches to a final design, including suggestions for several modifications that significantly improved my original ideas. He was helpful every step of the way. The installation team was highly skilled and paid close attention to every little detail. Everything was fit together perfectly, including several custom features that required true craftsmanship to get it right. Everything was done on schedule with no unexpected surprises or delays. I am very pleased with the outcome. I would definitely recommend Peter and the BKI team to friends and family.

Andy, the salesman, and all of the staff were very professional and helpful during the design, ordering and delivery of the cabinets. The countertop will be measured soon. We did have one design problem we discovered after delivery of the cabinets. One base cabinet door will not be openable if a large refrigerator is installed as the kitchen was designed. Andy has made good on this by ordering new cabinet doors at no additional cost to us.

Michelle was our sales person and we loved her. We would use her and BK again in a heartbeat, but do not use Empire Stone for counter tops. Not her fault and don't blame her, just would not ever use Empire Stone again!!!

They coordinated everything with Bennett Contracting so that my kitchen remodel was done efficiently and as quickly as possible.

During the design stage Peter was great about showing me cabinets in their show room that were the same size and /or had the interior design details I thought I might need. He brainstormed with me to find the best features for my lifestyle and budget. Builders kitchen does not do construction/installation but were able to suggest some contractors to me. Although i did not use any of the contractors they suggested Peter worked incredible well with my contractor and myself.
Peter was the salesman who sold me my cabinets and was quick to come to my house more than once during construction when questions arose with the cabinets. I did a painted and glazed cabinet and knew consistency for the glazing was hand done and therefor irregular. There were some molding pieces and cabinet fronts that looked very different due to the glazing and builders kitchen absorbed cost to reorder and come up with a better match. I changed my mind about a few cabinet interiors after my order was delivered and Peter ordered and delivered the parts to my house well before my contractor was done..... he was incredible patient with me.
Everyone who helped me along the way including the receptionist was professional, fair and patient and I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

The salesmen seemed to be fairly disinterested in selling anything. We thought we'd get little more help from him but we didn't. The counters were excellent but that was done by another company. The cabinets were fairly good but the thing that ticked us off was, we wanted a little bit larger base cabinets and the salesmen told us that it would be too large and that they wouldn't be able to put it in. So we went with a thinner one and it doesn't look that great. The receptionist did more than the salesmen about the product, she was much more helpful. They also sent out a damaged cabinet, there were two chips in there and so we sent it right back and they finally got another cabinet for us.

They are an excellent company to work with, at least from a contractor's perspective. They are very professional detail oriented, and work hard to fix any problems that come up - whether they are their mistakes or mine. They stock the (lower end) cabinets I use and are always ready to help out. They do have an extensive showroom, probably more choices than I have seen in other places with very nice installations. In the past that has been a gap in their product lineup above the relatively inexpensive cabinets I use to the higher end ones when I have wanted to upgrade to a low-mid range cabinet, but that may have changed since I asked about this last time. My partners have had them do the installations (I install my own) and have said the installer was amazing.

It went excellent. Old house that has its inconsistencies as far as levelness of floors and walls, and every measurement and detail considered. Suggestions made for functionality of the kitchen without trying to oversell.

I shopped many other cabinet companies and then was referred to Builders Kitchens by several friends who had recently built homes and worked with them. After being unimpressed with the service of other companies, it was immediately clear that I had finally come to the right spot. I updated this house for re-sale and had a wonderful experience with their entire staff. I worked primarily with Michelle but was assisted by many others during the process. Phone calls always returned promptly, had lots of advice to give but were not at all pushy, large beautiful showroom and 3-d computer images really helped me visualize the final product, lots of products to choose from at reasonable prices, and a quick lead time. They also came back and did some repairs and adjustments for me. I will use them again when I build my new home and would recommend Builders Kitchens to anyone building or remodeling - they are extremely knowledgeable kitchen designers.

IT WAS VERY GOOD. I REALLY ENJOYED WORKING WITH THESE GUYS, THEY WERE EXCELLENT. THEY WERE EXPENSIVE BUT EXCELLENT. EVERYTHING CAME OUT EXACTLY AS PLANNED AND WE DIDN'T NEED TO PUSH THEM AT ALL.
