It was done in August 2013. For an additional charge he replaced the sheetrock where it leaked for an extra $100 labor and $40 material. By January 2014 I realized the hole wasn't fixed. The ceiling was leaking through and mold and mildew was forming. That is obviously when I realized he didn't fix the hole.
I then cut a hole in the sheet rock, had a teen go up with my camera, and I was able to see right out the hole in the chimney. IT WAS SO OBVIOUS.
He said I didn't hire him to fix the hole. I hired him just to fix the damaged area. Now how stupid is that.
I just had Home Evolutions tear off my old roof and replace it. They also took photos of the flashing from the outside. So I have photos from the attick and they have photos from the roof.
And I'm out $940 and he won't answer his phone when he sees it is me. He is not living at an address.
I do suggest that if anyone gives you their address, that you get a copy of his driver's license to confirm it.
I CANNOT LOCATE THIS GUY EVEN TO SERVE HIM PAPERS FOR MY LOSS.
