ALBANY TILE SUPPLY CO INC

Took samples home to check the colors in my own home.  I am sure the big box stores could give you a better price but you would not get the one on one help or the expertise or the same quality.

I have been to Albany Tile about 3 times to look at their tile and take home samples. I have really tried to like this place because it seems more local than the big box stores. However, I'm always terribly disappointed. The people working there are slow and rude. I returned some samples once and no one was there so I waited about 10 minutes. Still there was no one in the entire store. I called the store from my cell and no one picked up. I wandered around looking for anyone that could help. Finally, someone came out from the back about 20 minutes later. There was no excuse, no 'sorry to keep you waiting'. Nothing. The woman was so unbelievably rude. Every time I've been there, no one says 'Hi'. And certainly no smiles or willingness to assist you find what you want. I have written this place off and I will never be back. I've given them too many chances.

THE COMPANY WAS RUDE VERY UNHELPFUL. THEY EVENTUALLY GOT THE TILE WE WANTED, BUT IT WAS A STRUGGLE. THEY LEFT US HANGING, AND DID NOT HONOR THEIR PROMISE TO TAKE BACK THE EXTRA TILE THAT THEY ORDERED TOO MUCH OF, LEAVING US WITH THE BILL. WHEN I ORDERED THE TILE, THEY SAID THE TILE I PICKED OUT WASN'T A GOOD IDEA, AND TRIED TO UPSCALE EVEN AFTER I TOLD THEM NO. OVERALL, IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
