A little while ago I had a leak in my roof. We had torrential rains where I thought I needed to go out and build an arc. It was days and days of torrential rain and I had a leak on an inside wall in my house. I phoned Angie's List and they gave me the names of five people in my area. One of them was able to come within an hour. In that torrential rain, he climbed up on the roof and plugged it. Some nails had rotted out and he fixed it. I couldn't believe the speed and the courtesy. It was wonderful. It really really worked. It was the owner who came. He had gone home for lunch, looked at his messages and then, on his way to a bigger job that he was doing, he stopped and climbed up on my roof. He only charged $75, it was pretty fantastic. He was responsive and careful and he was there, he did it and did not charge an arm and a leg. He was great.
