GENE'S TIRE SVC

On Jan. 2, 2014, Gene's Tires changed 4 regular wheels to wheels that had snow tires on them. Today, Feb. 27, 2014 (less than 2 months later) I called Gene's to ask him to take a look at them because there was a loud & disturbing noise coming from the front left side. He was unable to check it out until later & because I was worried I drove to Bill's Auto in Rosendale. He informed me that the front left wheel was dangerously loose & about to fall off. The other 3 wheels were also loose, but not as dramatically loose as the front left. My husband called Gene, saying he thought Gene would like to know. The response was surprising..... whoever answered the phone was annoyed, impatient, and hung up on him. The procedure they performed was dangerously inadequate & could have caused an accident. I will not go back there. Their total lack of interest or concern has changed my feelings about their operation. My husband was not asking for any fund return...just thought they should be aware of what happened.
