Tiles by Danny

Danny Doherty was recommended to me by the owner of a very reputable tile store. Danny installed ceramic tile and a backsplash approximately 20 months ago at my home. He was supposed to come back to seal the grout but he never even came back to wash the haze off the floor or wash down the backsplash - let alone seal anything. After about 10 months the grout started to come UP OUT OF THE FLOOR in pieces - leaving empty grooves in between the tiles and then floor tiles started to come loose - after a few months of excuses and "no shows" I went back to the store who recommended him and the owner eventually pressured Danny to come back and regrout the floor. Danny did return to regrout but the grout started to come out again within 24 hours. After approximately 9 months of attempting by myself and the store owner to get Danny back to finally repair the floor once and for all - as of today - his last chance is gone. I a long list of his last minute or after the fact excuses; car problems, illness, trips to the hospital, time overruns on other jobs, a birthday party, etc, etc, etc. not to mention his basic -no call - no text "NO SHOW's " At one point he implied that his helper did not put enough grout/adhesive on the back of the tiles (like this would make it not his responsibility). Danny also took pictures of my kitchen and told me he was using them to show potential customers his work because my kitchen came out so nicely. Today his excuse was "he got hung up at the DMV".
