Went to Sears with a dead car battery, AAA had come and jump started us and we sent to Sears because the battery was under Sears' 4 year warranty (2.5 years out). They tested the battery and determined it was "good" despite the fact that the AAA tech's test said it needed replacing immediately. IOW, Sears WOULD NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY. My husband threatened to take legal action and they immediately refused to continue working on the car and asked us to leave. I am disabled and use a motorized wheelchair. They essentially left us with a battery that could die at any time. Luckily, we made it home and called AAA to replace the Sears battery at a cost of approximately $150. I wonder how they sleep at night.

Overall I rated this as a C, it would have been an F for quality of service, but I went back to let them try to fix their mistake. I originally went in for new tires and to have them balanced and aligned. I also asked them to inspect my Suburban to see if anything else need to be replaced. I was told that the alignment was done the best it could be for my older SUV, and that there should not be any problems with it. This was 7 months ago.
We started have this clunking sound coming from the front of the car and vibrations at freeway speeds so we brought it back in to find out what happened. When we got there we were told that we had to replace the two new front tires, because the inside had worn to the steel belts. We spoke with several mechanics and the manager to find out how 7 month old tires with only 4000 miles on them could be worn to the belts. The mechanic that originally did the work did not do the alignment properly and caused the tires to wear and put us in a dangerous situation. Not to mention the money wasted on the tires.
We were told to come back the next day to have two new tires put on the car along with a proper balance and alignment done.
We told them that they were responsible for the tires going bad and that we had already paid for the glance and alignment to be done and did not feel we should have to pay that again. After speaking with the manager we came to a final resolution of prorating the wear on the tires based on the wear of the back tires. We felt that this was fair, we did use the tires and we did not have to pay for balance or alignment.
This was all do to the fact that a lazy mechanic wanted to go home for the day. After speaking with the manager and several of the other mechanics we felt comfortable having them perform the rest of the maintenance that our SUV required. We understand that there can be a bad employee and that it does not make the entire company a bad company, so we gave them a chance to fix the problem and they did. We told them to replace any parts that were worn. After several hours we were told that the car was ready and that they did not need to replace anything. Everything was in good shape. They did not try to up sell us or say that this was our fault.
We have used several Sears Auto Centers and this was the first time we ever has a problem. They fixed their mistake and we will use them again. We will watch a little closer next time though. Better safe than Sorry.

I called MJ a few times and always got her voicemail, so I finally left a message that my daughters and I needed haircuts. She called me back that night to set up appointments, and she let me know that she does not answer her phone while she is with a client and that is why I always received her voicemail. She was already booked for most of the month, and let me know what my options were for making three appointments. I chose to make two appoints one night and would make the third appointment when I was at her salon.
My 18 year old daughter went first. She has thinner hair that has a little bit of wave in it. She was going from medium length hair to a short asymmetrical style. MJ spent a lot of time with her to make sure it was the length and style that she wanted and that she was completely happy and she was. MJ explained everything that she was doing and the products that she used, and never tried to sell us anything. I really appreciated that. Since this took longer than we expected, MJ and I decided to reschedule my appointment for another day. I had very long hair that is very thick and curly and we knew it would take a long time to cut and style my hair.
Now it was my turn. I went from very long hair to a mid length style with long layers and face framing. MJ spent time talking with me to make sure that we were on the same page about the style I wanted and then she got to work. It took a little over two hours to consult, shampoo, cut and style my hair. I have very thick hair, so I knew it would take a long time and MJ never tried to rush or charge extra for the time. My hair looks and feels great, and is exactly what I wanted, so now I made another appointment for my other daughter.
So now it was my 15 year old daughter's turn. She had very long hair that is on the thicker side and has some curl in it. MJ listen to what she wanted done, she wanted to cut about 3-4 inches off, some long layers, face framing and bangs. Again MJ explained everything that she was doing and products that she used, while never trying to sell us anything. It took a little over an hour and we left with my daughter very happy and her hair looking great.
We have had many bad haircuts here in Vegas, so it was nice to find someone that could cut and style all of our hair. We all have different thickness and length of hair and MJ did a great job on all of us. I would recommend her to anyone who asked.
