Description of Work: Signed a contract with Lawton Construction due to water damage in my very small kitchen/dining room. The mitigation went quickly, but the repairs took three months to complete. I had my refrigerator, appliances and dining room furniture sitting in my living room, and I was doing dishes in my garage The Project Mgr was uncommunicative and timelines given were not met or delayed. This small job took a total of four months and only after finally involving a rep from the vetting company used by my insurance company, Lawton sent unskilled laborers to do electrical and plumbing hookups in my home. (one skilled employee they had sent walked off the job because “he couldn’t work with Lawton anymore!”) Staff would not let me speak to the owner to discuss releasing me from the contract or modifying it to get things moving forward. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
