Scott Roofing did a superlative job with our “mandated” roof repair. Our Homeowners’ Insurance Company created considerable stress with their ultimatum for full replacement of our roof by a date that is problematic in our region. Despite the looming date and two late winter storms, they handled our project with ease. The team was both polite and respectful. They worked tirelessly to dusk most days and took great care of our exposed rooftop those windy and rainy nights. And when they left each evening, their equipment was always tightly stored away and the yard swept of roof debris. We so appreciated their level of professionalism. Without hesitation we say, Scott Roofing is the best!

We recently had our house re-roofed by Scott Roofing. Everything about the experience was first rate. General Manager Justin Jove came out to do the estimate. There was a structural addition that presented a challenge and Justin came up with a solution that worked well for us. The estimate came in within the range that I expected. No surprises. The quality and appearance of the new roof is superb. Everyone involved in this project, from Justin to the roofing crew to the office staff were a pleasure to work with. They were all professional, courteous and friendly. To you all may I say, “Well done!” I would highly recommend Scott Roofing to anyone in need of a new roof or repairs. They are a well established homegrown business with a dedication to quality and customer service.

The whole process was very easy and un stressful, being I never had this done before that helped a lot. The quote process was easy and straight forward. It's expensive but Scott Roofing was below the other quote and I did not have to do anything as they handled it all. Very professional. Lead times are a bit long but that is the nature of this work. On the day of the job an army of men showed up and got on it very fast. They almost got a two day job done in a day and were cleaning up after dark. All very impressive and worth the money. The roof looks better than the rest of the house now.

Great, we had a leak couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. The roofer waited for the next rainstorm checked it again figured out where was coming from fix those tiles underneath and finally we had a perfect roof. He made sure we were taking care of the pricing was OK and we were happy. Great service.

I generally liked their work and they cleaned up all of the debris from the job. They arrived on time and worked very quickly. My only negative comment was that there was a delay of several weeks while our order waited in a pile. They could only handle doing so many jobs per day. That's understandable, but they didn't keep in touch with us. I had to call them a few times to ask when our job would be completed. I would have liked better communication from their office while we waited.

We contacted them March or shortly after. Had to wait until June for service because of weather/ scheduling. Two man team was very thorough, neat, and professional. Scott roofing is a cash/ check company. If you pay with a credit card you will be charged a 3% fee for processing your card. They claim this is what their bank charges them. True, but most companies don't pass this fee on to the customer because they get to deduct it at tax time as an operating expense. Our $2816.00 turned into $2900.84 because of a $84.48 3% processing fee. That's was our thx from Scott Roofing for buying local.

The 3% credit card fee is explained on the front page of every contract proposal prior to signing a contract for work. We understand the bank fees are unfortunate, but in order accommodate customers who would prefer to pay by credit card, the fees are included in the final invoice. The 3% fee on the final invoice is payment for the credit card company fees, nothing more. great. I highly recommend this company. Justin was great. Had 4 layers of roofing to demo. Work was completed in three and a half days. New roof looks excellent. Were higher priced than others, but worth every penny. Thank you Justin and Scott Roofing.

Whe it was our turn, they arrive on time and had two crews working on the issues. As luck would have it, two days after they finished the work, we had another large storm come through. No leak. I would utilize them again if needed.

Estimator stated that work would be performed approximately six weeks out. Work crew showed up unannounced on a Saturday morning two weeks out. Fortunately, we were home and didn't have prior commitmentso that day. A phone call would have been appreciated prior to showing up to do the job.

Extremely well!!! Worked with Ken to get timely estimate. He was excellent to work with and answered my innumerable questions. Since this was my first roofing job ever, he helped educate me and make me feel comfortable working with his company - he's a true asset to his company!!! He was flexible in making changes that I requested including changing out a warped fascia board. Construction day went very smoothly. Alberto and his 7 member crew showed up on time, tore off the old roof in 1 day, installed new 2" metal drip edge all around/2 rows of ice guard/new CertainTeed Premier asphalt shingles, and cleaned up the 2nd day. There was not a trace of any nails, debris, etc anywhere in the yard. I was so happy with the quality and professionalism of Scott Roofing that I would highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing work!!!

Communication was outstanding through the entire process. Scott Roofing was accommodating of our construction schedule, as we had other remodeling projects going on and had to delay the roof install in order to complete other work. Crew was punctual and worked hard; helpful and pleasant to deal with. We had just had a new concrete driveway poured a few weeks prior and were concerned the surface would be damaged. The crew covered the driveway with tarps to protect it and avoided having very large trucks drive on it. They left the areas around the house clean when they finished the job; you can't even tell they were here. Our new roof is beautiful and we are very pleased with the quality of work. We would recommend Scott Roofing to our friends and family without hesitation.

It all went like clockwork. They were very well-organized and the crew worked hard. The old roof came off and new 30# felt was put down, then they put down the shingles. My new roof looks beautiful and has a warranty that I can transfer to the next owner of my home should I decide to sell. I'm very happy I went with a tear off instead of putting new shingles over old, beaten up ones. My roof will last longer, be warranteed, and looks better. I was told I won't have to worry about my roof for at least 30 years. That's a huge relief. This is a very professional operation.

In less than two day , Scott roofing and a really great team of hard workers, had my old roof off - at least three layers and approximately 30 years old. And a beautiful new roof is now in its place! Plus, they did repair work over the garage. And clean up was awesome-- Even took away extra for me! Workers were extremely professional, and very pleasant! I had done a lot of research, and very happy that i chose Scott Roofing. I began with Jim and he was there for me all the way, even coming out each day. Everything was completely explained and i really appreciated all the info!

I was very happy with the result. The crew showed up on time, did a good job of protecting all the exterior plants and surfaces, cleaned up well, appears to have followed manufacturer's instructions explicitly - very important - they paid good attention to detail, and generally were a good bunch. I'd be happy to have them back, but hopefully won't have to for 50 years.
They got the job done in two days for a ~1500 s.f. house with attached garage. The end product looks very good, I chose the higher end shingles and am glad I did, no buyers remorse!
The working hands were tooled up, the contractor provided a portable restroom for them and a trailer to haul off the old roofing material. It was a completely professional operation.
Remember the Bermuda Triangle of Construction - Good, Fast, Cheap. Pick any two, you don't get the third.

This company is outstanding from start to finish. Our contact person for the job was Mr. Francisco Munoz, who gave the initial estimate and got back to me within hours any time I had a question. The price of the estimate was one of the most competitive we found in Reno, and Scott stuck to it, with no hidden or extra charges in the end. Scott's website provides a list of properties they have installed roofs on, so I drove around town and saw what the different grades of shingles looked like on different houses before picking the one I wanted. When the actual job began, I was impressed with the professionalism of the work crew and especially the foreman, Alberto. There were seven or eight workers on the site for two full days--with steady, but not hurried, work they finished the roof within the two-day estimate Francisco gave me, allowing my family to plan our lives easily around the disruption that major construction can cause. The final product is beautiful, and the process of making it happen was smooth and professional the entire time. I can't recommend this company highly enough--they are excellent.

We live on a ridge between two ravines and get a lot of wind. I see shingles in the yard after almost every wind storm. We asked for an estimate to replace the entire roof (about 10 years old). As we have a very steep roof with lots of valleys, we knew this wouldn't be inexpensive. The estimator said that we had an excellent roof, highest grade materials, but a few installation errors. He could have up-sold us ($30,000), but he showed us how we could get a few more years and what to watch for. (We are retired, and will probably plink off before the roof needs replacing.) The workmen came, were cheery, worked quickly, explained everything they were doing, cleaned up, including scouting around for any nails. (It's something I always do for myself after workmen leave; including the street where they parked their trucks. I hate flat tires, don't you?)
