Mike and Jessie at Sammler did a great job on our roof. From the beginning Mike was excellent scoping out the project, incorporating our needs, and bringing a very competitive quote. We appreciated that through the entire process, he didn’t pull any heavy sales, or bait-and-switch tactics. Just a solid guy through and through. Also, when we had a small incident (stuff happens), he made it right without any prodding. We’ve worked with a lot of contractors in the past that just turned their head when similar stuff occurs. It's clear they stand by their quality work. They did a fine job installing a skylight, and sourcing the specific shingle that we wanted. And when all was finished, they did a pretty good job cleaning the mess from the old roof removal. We will definitely use Sammler Roofing on future roofing needs. Thanks guys!

After looking at many possibilities, running much water on the roof and not seeing the leak repeat, we then tore out the ceiling dry-board that was stained and installation. Mike noticed a stain around an unfilled nail hole in the roof boards. He then located the hole on the roof, sealed that hole and nails around it and replaced the tile. Was at the task for over 2.5 hours, but kept looking until solved. Apparently leak only happens when ice dam held the water for some period that the leak occurred, so hard to find with just a hose. Hopefully this solves the mystery problem and we have no more damage.

I am very happy with the new roof and the whole experience with this company. Mike was extremely helpful and professional throughout the process and his crew was excellent. Mike made a trip over after it was all finished to check on the cleanup. The whole process, from estimate to being done was about a week and a half. I heard about them from some friends who have used them before for two different houses and I would not hesitate to recomend them to anyone .

Sammler roofing is awesome. I have a pretty hectic schedule and Michael Sammler was completely flexible and came by on a weekend to drop off the roof smaples and explain to me the differences between them as well as point out houses in my neighborhood that had each type of shingle. His quote was better than the others I had received and he was the nicest and most professional of the companies I received quotes from. We set a date and as soon as it arrived work started immediately and on time. His crews were extremely efficient and removed the old roof and installed the new one in just three days. They cleaned up all debris and the roof looks incredible. I also have animals that were present in the back yard the whole time and the crews were very respectful of them. The new roof has been in place now through the first part of winter including some windy and stormy days and there are no issues, it's performing perfectly. If you are getting a new roof, use these guys!

Mike was very pleasant to work with, forthright in his evaluation of our roof without trying to pressure us into a complete roof replacement this year. His recommendations were sound. He was very responsive in handling the task. After interviewing several other companies, it was refreshing to work with him. I would highly recommend him.

He is very timely and professional. He is on time and starts the job when he says he is going to. He is efficient and got the job done.

Mr. Michael Sammler was great. He did it himself, and I had a fine experience with him. His price was fair. If I need to, I will use him again in the future.

.The new roof was easy and fast

Initially, Michael Sammler was recommended by our trusted friend and neighbor. He had used Sammler Roofing for roofing projects for a couple of his rentals. So we set up an appointment on 6/01/11 for an estimate. We had received estimates from 2 other local roofing companies so we had an idea of what to expect. Michael arrived for the estimate appointment right on time and within an hour we had our roofing bid proposal: two prices, one with GAF HD shingles and one with Ultra HD shingles. The prices were competitive with the previous estimates we had received. We chose the Ultra shingles, the color we wanted and Michael gave us a tentative start date of 6/14/11. (Tentative only because the weather was anything but predictable the first weeks of June). June 13, Michael met with us to tell us how the job was going to go, step by step, and answer questions we had. 8am on June 14, the crew showed up and within 3 hours the old roof was off and gone. Michael did a lot of the work himself and when he wasn't on site, he was checking in. Our new roof was completely finished by 3pm on June 15, and is it ever beautiful! And the estimated price was exactly what we paid. We couldn't be happier with the job and employees of Sammler Roofing. The icing on the cake was yesterday, one week since our job had been completed. Michael showed up with his ladder and shingles to replace some of the shingles lost off our tool shed over the past 15 years. My husband had mentioned this to Michael at their first meeting. Couldn't believe he remembered it AND did it at no extra charge! Exceptional service, all the way around.
