Description of Work: Ross worked on my Toyota front suspension and saved me lots of money over a dealership. They were fast and efficient. I trust their service.

They did what we needed done with car and didn't add on extra stuff. It was a really good price. They found other things but didn't pressure us to fix it. It was good, they seem really honest.
Description of Work: Ross's Garage fixed something with the timing belt.

They spliced the battery cable and disparaged everyone who could have conceivably worked on the car before. They said the starter had been shimmed and that was why the starter kept going when it shouldn't. They were able to master setting the points and timing, but this is a 72 Chevelle and it's pretty basic. Instead of putting a new battery cable they stripped the old cable back in installed a clamp device so it could be hooked up to the battery. I ended up having to install a new battery cable myself two weeks later, because the clamp shorted out. I had to listen to a litany of how good they were, and no one else who had worked on the Chevelle had known what they were doing. Yeah, their work was so good I had to go back and fix it myself. I'm a great believer in word of mouth advertising. And I'm completely mystified as to why these people are still in business.
Description of Work: I had a problem with the starter on my 72 Chevy Chevelle not stopping once the car was started. I cut the battery cable and went looking for a mechanic. I figured once they got the starter issue dealt with they could adjust the dwell and timing which is about a 15 minute job. I also asked them to install a new battery cable.

Everybody was friendly and well informed. They knew what was wrong with my vehicle and didn't try to sell us anything that it didn't need. The work was done quickly and at a reasonable cost.
Description of Work: Replaced serpentine belt tensioner, fuel pump, replaced A/C manifold line set & recharged system. Ordered new (To us) transmission, awaiting delivery.
