These folks are fantastic! John Trevino and his assistant came over to look at our HVAC units and check what needed to be done per comments on our house inspection--we bought the 10 y/o old about 7 months ago. John determined that the two units needed a bit more work inside and outside than what the inspectors found, and said the humidifier would work well with our system. They gave us a fair price, based on the research I did. We also originally wanted a "mini split" unit in the office so we could heat/cool it separately from the rest of the area covered by the second HVAC unit. However, the price was somewhat more than we thought it would be and, after John understood our needs, he suggested just adding a zone to the unit--which was much less expensive and exactly what we needed. I was a little disappointed that it was not John who ultimately did the work, but his team was excellent. The job wound up taking an extra 10 hours or so than they thought it would, but they didn't charge a dime more than the estimate. They made sure everything worked correctly and cleaned up after themselves, and they explained all of the new equipment. I would recommend these folks any time and will be signing up for their annual maintenance plan.

The employees showed up before the scheduled time (excellent), both men were clean, courteous, professional, patient with my questions, AND thoroughly cleaned up after the project was complete.

My family and I were so impressed with the crew that came to install a new AC and furnace. They kept our carpets clean (it was muddy and raining during their time here) by laying down protective sheets and were kind and considerate of us and our dogs being here. They were dedicated to keeping us warm while we waited for NV Energy to come hook up the gas line by providing us with space heaters and worked quickly and efficiently. They were friendly and very respectful of our home and especially professional. When we could not contact NV Energy they did it for us. We will definitely be hiring them again when we need to install a new water heater.

Really a great crew, they worked tirelessly in what was a filthy job. I have found it difficult to find qualified technicians that know how to work on oil furnaces. Juan knows his stuff, and was very focused on getting it done right and providing me with the information needed to get the most efficency out of my new units. There was a 3 man crew at my home for days and they were always very polite and didn't leave a mess behind at the end of the day, even when the end of the days was 8pm.

We used Reno Heating and Air to install our system a number of years ago. They actually designed a new system -- our old one was original 1952. We could not believe the difference when the new system was installed!!! Wow. Our latest visit was to replace a motor, which had gone out. They were so polite; responsive; more than fair on price. Chris on the phone is wonderful -- even for Sunday calls! And each of their workers were more than courteous and so considerate of keeping our home clean. All of our interactions have been exceptional. I would highly recommend these people for any work anyone needs in HVAC.

They did most of the work in January except for hooking up a/c due to
cold. The first problem I discovered was my garage full of water from
the tankless water heater. They had left a drain plug loose on the
bottom of the unit and it vibrated open. Then I had to bother them to
come and hook up the a/c which they did on 4/25. My air conditioning
worked for 10 minutes and then quit. I called them on a Saturday at
9:45AM and four hours later I still had not heard from them and I had to
call again. They came out and determined the compressor kick out
because of over pressurization. It is now 5/10 and my brand new air
conditioner is not working again. I called and was told no one can come
and look at it until tomorrow. I was told the owner considered that
fair. I would not recommend anyone ever use this company for anything.
Not only do I believe they do not know what they are doing but they do
not have the people to take care of their own mistakes. You stand behind
your work and if you make a mistake do everything possible to fix it.

They were here on the same day, but that was only because I've used them before and I was in their book.

We wanted to convert from oil heat to gas and install a new air conditioner. I have used Reno Heating and Air to service my heater for a few years and they have always done right by me. I did get two other estimates for the job, and although Reno Heating and Air was not the least expensive, coming in at the middle, John was great at explaining all of my options to me and taking the time to answer all of my questions. I felt like he was very honest instead of trying to sell me more heater than I needed for my small house. Also, they provided a decommissioning of the oil tank as part of their service and I felt like their estimate was the most comprehensive. Chris in the office is very professional and a pleasure to work with. This person coordinated the work with NV Energy on the gas lines and meters. Although this job was interrupted by the Thanksgiving holiday and a storm that produced flooding around the valley, Reno Heating and Air was very professional and worked hard to ensure that heat was restored quickly. Their techs were very competent and a pleasure to work with. Overall, I am extremely happy with my new heater. It works exactly as it is supposed to. They took the time to explain how the new thermostat works and ensure that I knew how to use it. No more being blasted by too much heat and frozen by too little. Best of all, no more huge monthly oil bills. I would definitely recommend Reno Heating to anyone looking to install a new heater or service an existing one.

They are family owned and they know what they are doing with older heaters, and they take their time.

We are happy with the heater. We have no problems with that at all. They've had problems getting to our water heater. It's not that we need one right away. It was that we were replacing one and it's not something that has to be done right now. We've just been biding our time. The heater is fine and it's just the time that it's taking them to put a new water heater. The heater work went fine. The workmen were fine and they did a thorough job. I have no qualms, but I'm not that knowledgeable about installation of heaters. It's really hard for me to give a reasonable comment. I do think that it was a satisfactory installation. They were here on time. I would probably call them again to get something installed as far as heating and air conditioning goes because they are local and I can talk to a real person. I feel more comfortable dealing with a local company.
