As expected

Language WAS a problem.  The work was done but not very well.  They might be fine just mowing lawns.

Gave estimate for $30 for bi-weekly mow, edge and trim. When I met with them for the estimate I specifically asked that any weeds and grass growing in the flower beds around the redwood deck and in the large flower bed in the back of the yard be removed and maintained each time they come out. They said they understood when they gave the estimate.
They came out on 5/1/12 to do the first bi-weekly mow, edge and trim. When I came home later that afternoon I noticed that the weeds in the large flower bed in the back of the yard were not removed. I called and left a message on the main line and cell phone number. My call wasn't returned until the next evening at around 7:00PM. When I explained my concern to Tony Ramos, who was the one that called me back, he said he didn't remember me asking for the weeds being removed. And then said it would be a higher price. I explained that whether he remembers it or not I specifically asked for it to be done when they gave the estimate and they are the ones that quoted the $30 price. He said that his crew was going to be in my neighborhood that Saturday and they would come out and take care of it. They never showed up or called. I called the following Monday morning and as of now my call still hasn't been returned so I called today to cancel my service.

As she uses Ramos Lawn on a weekly basis, and has for years, you can tell she is satisfied and looks forward to their return every spring!

I have used their services since I bought my house eight years ago. This is the best spring cleanup/startup they have ever done. I had two problems with the sprinkler system (a broken head and a broken pipe) and Antonio is going to fix this next time he comes to my house. I would highly recommend their services. Alex and his father Antonio are hard working, reliable, and inexpensive compared to many. In the fall they also do trimming of bushes as well a fall cleanup. Like clockwork, they call me to schedule startup services each spring.
