Paschall Plumbing Heating Cooling has provided service to Reno, Sparks and Incline Village since 1982. We are passionately dedicated to providing you with excellent service, and will treat your home or place of business as if it were ours. We are available 24/7, and provide the same pricing no matter when you need service! All work we do is done at a flat rate. That means we address your concerns and outline multiple options for you to choose from, each at a price that will not change no matter how long we take to finish. once again fast excellent service. i had bill replace a hot water heater the previous month and based on that experience i called the company to fix a low water pressure issue. bill was out the same day and had the needed part in his truck. great job.

Excellent. Bill arrived on time and extremely knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem and showed me why a replacement was really my only option - gas was not being regulated when heating water and had resulted in a damaged unit that was no longer safe. At no time did I feel I was being pressured to buy a new unit. After replacing the unit, he turned the water on. At that moment, the line running to the outside bib broke, creating a small flood by the water valve for the refrigerator. This had nothing to do with the water tank repair, it was inevitable break. Turns out the original contractor had tipped the pipe in the wrong direction. Although this was an unexpected job, Bill was willing to do it on the spot. Bill made the smallest cut possible in the interior drywall, replaced the bad line and added appropriate fittings for the pipe to angle correctly. He also installed a new bib. The additional work was unexpected but only an extra $100. Best of all, he mopped up all the water! Super service, very professional and well worth the price.

They charged me for a service call, but they did not charge me anything for the services. It turns out that I did not have the line turned off all the way. He did notice that I have a broken valve, which I plan to hire them again to fix.

When I first arrived in Sparks I set up lifetime service with Paschall Plumbing for heat, AC, and plumbing.  So, when my garbage disposal went out, I contacted them.  I work full time so it is difficult for me to schedule service.  The service person arrived and replaced my garbage disposal and told me it would be $484.32.  I was horrified, but I had already taken time off to meet him and couldn't take more.  I had to remind him that I got 15% off because I had a lifetime service plan.  So he did drop the price to $411.68.  He also insisted this was a top of the line garbage disposal, but when I looked it up online, it was actually the lowest priced disposal in that line, and I could have purchased it for $60 - $70.  And Costco had an excellent one for less than that but another brand.  I wrote a complaint to the owner of the company and heard back that someone would be contacting me to discuss the issue.  They never contacted me.  If you look at their site they say they charge a flat rate for any job, no matter how long it takes, which I guess is the excuse for a garbage disposal replacement being almost $500 before a discount, but I now have no trust in what they may charge me for any work they do.  Be very cautious when using them for services.

My furnace, which is upstairs in the attic,  wouldn't start but the problem was intermittent. First Rob came out on 1/2/11, and cleaned the burner and line sensor.  That worked for a while, but then the same thing started to happen, not starting in the morning.  DJ came back on 1/24/11.  He said I needed a new presssure switch and ignitor  AND the inducer motor was working but should be replaced.  I replaced the pressure switch and ignitor, and again it seemed to work for a few days then not. I complained to the owner.  He was very rude on the phone, said everything was working when they left. I said yes, but now again its not working, not coming on in the morning, and I have no heat. I guess he didn't believe me that I have no heat.  They took their good old time coming back, I had to call several times.  The guy came back to my house with an attitude. There was a loose thermostat connection so he replaced my nice programmable thermostat with a cheaper one and left. Still no heat. I found a guy on BBB site had an A plus rating. His name was Jim.  I talked with him on the phone. He knew immediately what the problem was .My attic was too cold. Apparently furnaces don't like to start in cold attics. He told me to put a space heater up in the attic, and viola, the furnace worked.  Later he came out and had to replace the same part (pressure switch) I just paid for. It's worked perfectly ever since. Paschall had put one made for a MOBILE HOME in my furnace. He removed it and gave me the part. Cost me another $400. And the inducer motor Paschall wanted to replace, well it's still working.  I should have taken them to Court, but I don't want trouble and don't have the time so I let it go.  But they owe me.

My furnace wasn't working so I opened the Yellow Pages & called this co. (I had heard of them but didn't actually know of anyone who had used them.) I don't own a cmptr. so couldn't check "Angies List".   They came to my house a few hrs. later & fixed my furnace in about 45 min. It was a simple fix--just flushed the condensation trap box, & cleaned the flame sensor. They also replaced a small piece of the plastic pipe which is the condensation drain. I was presented with a bill of $307.56!! And no major repairs were needed. I called their office asking to speak with the mgr or owner. I was told they would return my call later that day or the next. They didn't so I called them again  on 2-8-2013. I was then  told that they are a "flat rate" co. and I was told I should've known that.  I was also never told when I made the appt. that there is another fee called the  "diagnostic fee" of $129.  I should've been told when I originally made the appt. about this "dx. fee" AND I should've been informed that they have a high "flat rate" fee. When I asked the person who answered the phone what their "flat rate" is for this type of work and he couldn't even answer the question. (I guess its $307.56 !). This company doesn't care about customer goodwill or good customer relations.

I was very impressed with how friendly and professional they were on the phone.  I expected ot have to wait several days before anyone could come out, but they told me they would call the next morning when the service guy was on his way! They phoned me as promised the next morning and 10 minutes later the service guy was at my door.  He was also very friendly and professional, went over everything he was going to do, and I gave him the go ahead to proceed with the work.  He also explained that they give estimates by job, not by the hour. So, if it took him 1/2 hour or 1/2 a day the price would be the same.  I'm sure I could have had the job done a bit cheaper, but I was very impressed with how prompt, courteous, and professional they are that I just had them out to quote me for some duct work and some work that needs to be done to our showers.

We did not have a good experience with them. We ended up in court. They were doing a new sewer line for us, and they trenched all the way out to the street, missed the sewer line, hit the water main, had to get extra permit to tear up the street, and tried to charged us for everything extra that had to be done because they missed the sewer line and hit a water line. He told us not to worry about it, and all of a sudden I got summons to appear in court. We refuse to use them again or recommend them to anyone. The funny thing is that their work was great, but I did not think that their work ethics was great with the fact that they tried to charge us more for their mistake. I felt that was really poor.

Filing a court order is the last thing on our mind, and is used as a last resort to receive payment after months of attempting to contact them is unsuccessful, or if someone outright refuses to pay for our services. In court, we opted to settle outside of court, and created a monthly payment plan that spanned two years. We take pride in accommodating our customers, and are happy to implement drawn out payment plans to do so. I called their main office the day before and set up an appointment for between 12:00 and 2:00 in the afternoon the next day.
The plumber, Bill Shores, called a few minutes before arrival to confirm the appointment.
I explained what was needed and he got to work. Despite the condition of the old faucet and shut-off valves, Bill was able to complete the work as needed in a little over an hour.
Bill displayed the professionalism, knowledge and friendliness that I've come to expect from Paschall in general.

Called on a Monday and the plumber was very prompt coming to the house. Gave me two estimates: 675 or 975..  I picked the larger amount because it made sense to have the job done properly, and  I was under the impression that the work would take most of the day, but when a second man came it took them only a couple of hours.  My complaint: when the bill came nothing was itemized, the plumber wrote out what he did, but I had no idea how much was charged for parts, time, etc.

"All work we perform is at a flat rate price, and is chosen by our customers before any work is performed. It is presumed that if a customer is not happy with our pricing, they will not choose to have the work performed. We respect our customers decision to decline service, should they ever decide to do so. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, which is why we provide pricing information upfront and stick to it. Additionally, an undertaking that takes an employee 4 or more hours to complete will clearly be completed in half the time with the help of a fellow employee. An additional employee assisting in the completion of a job will not change any pricing our customer agrees to, and does not lessen the value of the work we perform. In fact, it increases the value of work performed, as each employee is ensuring the other does not make a mistake. All service invoices explain in detail what work was performed, but unfortunately are not itemized. This is a long standing company policy, since our company specializes in flat rate service, as opposed to hourly service. We aim to please ever single one of our customers, and pride ourselves in being upfront and helpful to our customers. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to provide service to you again, and hope this post outlines our inter-workings in a clear fashion."
