"Thank you for submitting your concerns. We take our customer's safety very seriously and when it comes to carbon monoxide our technicians are trained to test for its presence on all service calls. When we do find a positive test it can be very concerning so we do offer to send the department manager back again at no charge to perform a second test to confirm or deny the presence of carbon monoxide. We also appreciate our customers obtaining a third party verification of the presence of or lack of carbon monoxide. With this potentially deadly gas we can't be too careful. I'm sorry that you felt as though our technician was "just trying to sell a furnace." This is never our intention and we are merely testing for safety."

Found a bad part that was close to burning up! Not only saved us a lot of money but avoided a serious fire!

I had a malfunctioning wall heater which caused all sorts of problems including a severe case of soot build up in the chamber and up through the flue (picture 2-3 gallons of soot). I had a home warranty that sent a different company out to repair the heater only, but basically said tough luck on the flue, since that build up was secondary damage and not covered. Since the heater obviously wasn't venting properly (the pilot light was seeking air from the front), I started to search for a solution.
after SEVERAL calls to many companies, I called One Hour and explained my dilemma to them (after everyone else told me NO they only work on heaters or when trying chimney sweeps being told and quot;we only do fireplace or wood stove pipesand quot;) Instead of the repetitive and quot;No We Don't Do That responseand quot;, Michaels reply was let's see what we can do to get this done for you... How refreshing. I couldn't be happier...

I bought a Living Social deal to have my air conditioner serviced but they also did a home energy evaluation. They found some problems that they fixed while they were here and they fixed the electrical outlet outside. I signed up for the Comfort Club which gives me priority service for the next year. They were very thorough and they were very knowledgeable. I have had several companies come out to look at my system but no one knew how to fix it. This guy figured out the problem right away and fixed it. I didn't even have to call an electrician because he had everything on his truck. I think you get what you pay for with them.
