In working with Mark, I got the sense that he owns the company with perhaps a helper or two.  With this came a very apparent personal touch, pride of workmanship, high level of expertise and ability to meet directly with the customer.  But also with this came some minor delays depending upon backlog.  That said, he was able to perform an "emergency" Saturday same day repair for me (involving a bad breaker) and then ultimately coordinated (all permits, material procurement, etc.) in doing the service conversion that I needed.  If you're not in a hurry, and want to honor a guy working his own business, I can't think of a better person to deal with.

The final price was lower than the original quote, when he got there he said it wasn't as much work. I chose them because they were listed and would do the work on an hourly basis. They were reliable and did good work. Their hourly rate seemed normal. They were honest, when they realized there was less work than there was they could have stuck to their original estimate, but they didn't.

They are the reason I joined the list, so I could comment about them. The first service they did for me was covered under my home warranty program, but I liked it so much that I hired them for some additional work. I think I spent about $110 on that work. They were fantastic and I would hire them again. I will be seeking them to replace the wiring in my whole house.

They went room by room, they would cut the power to one section, remove the knob and tube, re-wired the section and had the power back on to that section in the same day so we were never without power. They did the house service last. A+. The electrician was friendly and they made this an enjoyable process.
