"We are sorry you are unhappy with our company. We do our very best to provide a comprehensive estimate that is very clear as to what work we are quoting. When our company spoke to you on the phone, no one called you a liar. We are sorry you perceived it that way. We spoke to you on many occasions, and simply asked that you not speak over us, let us respond to your concerns, and that we all wanted the same outcome, for you to be happy with the deck sanding and stain. We did follow up with you, and our last conversation was that you were going to choose the deck stain you wanted and put it on hold, that you would contact our crewman, whose information was provided to you, and let him know where to obtain your product, at our cost. Additionally, we let you know the additional work would be 100% covered by Masterfield Construction, at no extra charge to you. We never heard anything back. When we discovered you were unhappy, via an Angi's representative, we refunded the remainder of your deposit. Again, we apologize that this ended in an unsatisfactory manner."
"We are sorry, and very surprised, that you are unhappy with our company. We felt that since we worked two days at your home, while only charging you for one day, and addressed each and every concern prior to leaving with your happy approval that you were satisfied with our service. Additionally, we are confused regarding your comments about not being responsive. We returned each email as soon as possible; and answered all your calls. Further, your contract called for only repairing 3 deck joists and installing 4 pieces of wood. All aspects of the contract were fulfilled. Our foreman walked the project with you more than once and acquiesced to your request to fill several additional places with the rot resistor that were not in the contract. We are always happy to use the product our clients desire should they wish to defer from our recommendations. We are sorry you felt that our scheduling was not performed to your expectations. Unfortunately, due to the nature of construction being at the whims of the weather, material, current job completion and employee absenteeism, we are not always able to accurately predict exactly what day we will be able schedule, but are always happy to speak with, or email to, you at any time, address concerns, and adjust the contract and pricing parameters to include additional requests."
"Sadly, when you fail to pay your bill at the end of the project, our last resort is a lien. We attempted many times to communicate with you and received no response. We felt we completed your project, as well as the additional work you requested, in a timely manner, without billing you for the additional coordination or work time. Even with the non-payment/late payment of your balance, Masterfield Construction still backs its work and honors its one-year warranty."
"We are very sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. It would seem there was a lot of miscommunication. We purchase all materials based upon client choices. We don't choose the color of the Trex, that is 100% a Client decision. For a pre-manufactured pergola, again, this is a Client choice. We never make that decision. We also ask that Client's sign off on the final product before it is purchased. We submit very detailed estimates, including everything that is quoted. We are sorry if fascia was not included in your estimate. We would have been happy to add that in had you requested this. We do apologize for material backorders, that, unfortunately, is not something we can control; nor can we control the quality of the product or prevent damages incurred during shipping. We would never leave your project with bent or broken pieces. We simply installed everything as it was received until we could return with the manufacturer replacement parts. We would have been happy to have our painter come out to paint you had requested; however this was not quoted in your estimate and would have had to be an additional charge and it was our understanding that you declined. We do request our Clients to read their estimate and make sure all aspects they desire have been included and are completely happy to add in or remove anything missing. And, as you mentioned, we do have a one year warranty after work has been completed."
