We received a cost estimate of labor from Mike along with advice regarding where to buy carpet, yardage needed, padding quality and type of carpeting. We ordered carpet and pad based on Mike's yardage figure from the supplier suggested. Mike picked up the rolls of carpet and padding and brought them to us on the day agreed. Mike went to work immediately removing the old carpet and padding. He was very quick and kept working until finished. That same day he also installed the carpet sticks (placing double sticks where he thought would help because of the density and quality of the carpet), and cut and laid the padding. He took the old carpeting and padding away to dispose of it. The next day, Mike cut and laid the carpet, made sure all bedroom and closet doors were trimmed to fit the higher carpet. He even helped put the heavier furniture back into the bedrooms (something he didn't need to do.)
