Easy Rooter called my within minutes after I asked for recommendations from Angies List. They had someone out here a couple of hours after that and Sam fixed the leak fairly quickly. No problems.

I called to have my line snaked and they came out right away but didnt bother verifying that the drains were working. I ended up calling a second time to have them come back to do it again. They still didnt fix it and had to come back a third time. After all was said and done they tried charging me twice but the guy wrote down my card number wrong so it didnt go through. Because they messed up the card number I got a nasty letter in the mail threatening to put a lein on my house if they didnt get payment immediately. Incompetent people. Seriously unprofessional, bordering on extortion. Avoid this company at all costs.

I had Easy Rooter deal with a collapsing sewer line. Another company put down a camera and said the part under the street was fine, so we could just trench from the foundation to the street and put in new pipe. They also said "we don't have a recording of the camera work ... our equipment does not permit that." Hmmmm. I was a little suspicious. This other outfit had a good reputation but was a Class C contractor and thus would have to hire out the work to go into the street. Was this opinion trustworthy? I'm sooo grateful I asked Matt at Easy Rooter to give a second opinion, because I was either being lied to or the workers were incompetent. Easy Rooter is a Class A contractor, and can go into the street if they have to, but their "cast in place" technology does not demand it so they do not have that inherent conflict of interest. In less than a day and a half Easy Rooter gave me a thumb drive with film of the entire line: it was bad throughout but the part under the street was the worst! Huge roots; collapsing clay pipe. I've put up a picture of what the other company said was a "good line." Oh please. Matt was not even 100% sure he could avoid trenching it -- it was that bad. Matt explained the whole process in every detail. I researched it online. "Cast in place" was the solution I needed. They spun out the roots. When the pipe did collapse in one place they dug down and inserted a short length of ABS (at no additional cost!!), then they cast the whole thing from the inside with a seamless new pipe. Check out the after picture in nearly the same place as the other picture. The whole like looks exactly like that. In just two days the entire line was done -- if it were not for the collapse the whole thing would have taken 5 hours. For just a little bit above what the other guys wanted to do a messy, lengthy, and incompetent partial line replacement that would have torn up my yard and failed within months, I now have a brand new pipe from the clean out at the foundation to the main sewer line. One pipe; no seams; no possibility of root intrusion. Without them, I would have faced several thousand dollars more of in-street repairs before the year was even out. Matt even pulled a full camera film of the new line and gave me the thumb drive with it -- it looks wonderful. Look for yourself. Gang, these guys are the real deal. Fast, honest, knowledgable, competent and their technology is simply better than other options. They get 5 stars ... in my experience these folks are as good as it gets. Steve H.

I've scheduled them 3 days in a row. The first two days they didn't make it in time. The third day they were half an hour late even though I was the first client scheduled for the day. Besides this, Jesse did a good job. He checked out the problem and diagnosed right away the reason and fixed it within 20 min. He was articulate, friendly and focused on the job. I'd use Easy Rooter again if needed.

They came in tried to clear the blockage and just made the problem worst. The sewage kept backing up with the smallest amount of water. Then after they were done they said we will have some one call for an estimate to fix and replace that broken pipe...I never got a call. The worst part for them is they lost money because it would have been a big job. The best part for me is that I got a another company to come in to fix the problem and have them come in and routinely check my system for way less then it would have cost to go with easy rooter.

CAUTION: If you use these folks, write down the arrival and departure times, check the work often and don't let them leave until you see the job is completed and your lids aren't broken!!
There are two parts to Easy Rooter's septic tank pumping; one person digs up the septic tank lids and the following day another person comes out and pumps the tank.  It is up to you to fill the holes back in unless you also contract for that service.
The young man who dug up the septic tank was an overall good guy and hard worker. He showed up on time and completed the job rapidly.
However, the following day the pump operator showed up over 2 1/2 hours late. The operator didn't speak English well and it was very hard  for me to understand him.  He kept saying something about the tank was full so there would be an extra charge since it would take him 3 hours.  He worked from 10:40 to 11:40, then left without a word.  I checked the tank and he had not completed the job. He returned at 1:30 and at 2:05 knocked on the door to tell me he was done.  He wrote up the order showing the normal fee to pump the tank, $425.00, then listed 3 extra hours pumping time at $130.00 per hour ($390.00 total), plus an inspection fee of $120.00.  If you do the math, he was only on site a total of 1 hour and 35 minutes total.  As soon as I got him out of the back yard, I called Easy Rooter to complain about the bill.  The woman I spoke with tried to argue that the pump operator told her he arrived an hour BEFORE he actually did and was there over 3 hours.  After I explained I has kept track of the time due to his lateness, she adjusted the bill to 1 extra hour.  I still felt that I was overcharged, but accepted  $675.00 charge since I knew they didn't have an A rating to begin with but I needed the job done fast for a VA loan approval. I then went out to start filling in the holes and discovered that the pump operator had broken one of the lids in half.  I immediately called the company back and while they did replace the lid, I felt that the pump operator was dishonest again since he left without telling anyone what he had done.
We were out of town for 10 days and called upon our return to schedule replacing the lid. The same young man who had dug up the tank returned on 6/11/15 and replaced the broken lid.  He also apologized for the pump operator's behavior.
I later found out the the pump operator was blaming the broken lid on the young man who dug the holes.  I again called the company and told them that I was standing there when the pump operator removed the lids and neither of them were broken. This makes 3 times I know of where the pump operator was lying and now I'm not sure that he actually finished the job!
I admit I feel sorry for the young man who actually did the manual labor of digging up the lids.  He arrived on time, did his job correctly and was very courteous.  He even used heavy plastic sheeting to place the dirt on so it wouldn't mess up the landscaping.  It's a shame that his reputation has to be dragged down along with the company he works for.  If I was only rating his performance, it would be straight A's!

On time.  I have this done every couple of years.  The guy they sent actually listened to what I had to say about where  the block probably was and acted accordingly.  Problem solved in short order.  Have been using these people for years, however some technicians are better than others.  Don't know if I should mention names, but Rudy or Jeremy.
