Although I had already heard that this place might be a little pricey I also heard they do good work. I do not mind paying a fair price for honest competent work. I believe that dynamic diesel did that and we'll try them again for my next problem. My original problem was a my GMC truck had no throttle response. I also asked that they check the front end and shocks as I tow a heavy fifth wheel. In a timely manner they called and advised that I should replace the idler arm, inner tie rods, pitman arm and that I might consider replacing the shocks. They gave me price that we settled on and the work was completed in a timely manner. I am satisfied and will patronize them again.

Said whole fuel system was bad and needed to be replaced to the tune of $3,500.00 dollars. Went to TNT automotive Sparks, Nevada for a secound oppinion, and they found the problem. Cost was $450.00 dollars. Dynamic really wanted to take me to the cleaners...

"5/16/13: FROM THE BUSINESS OWNER: I was just made aware of this review; and frankly I'm appalled. Our reputation means much more to us than money ever will. We have been in business 7 years and pride ourselves on our quality of work and service to the Reno/Sparks/Tahoe community. We have just moved into a 27,200 sq. ft. new facility and have the best crew we've ever had with a state of the art customer lounge and top notch shop with much upgraded and new equipment. This review was made 3/13/13 - complaining about work done in 2009 - and is factually incorrect! Our records indicate this customer was only in our shop ONCE on June 23, 2010. We performed a thorough diagnosis of his truck and he was charged $90. It was explained to this customer when he got the quote that if his problems were minimal - after getting into the components - the charge would be less. The $2890.72 quote was stated to him as WORST CASE SCENARIO. He decided to go to another facility; and we're pleased his problems did turn out minimal - as we would have been had he chosen us. It would always be our wish that if ANYONE IS EVER UNHAPPY with ANYTHING that occurs at our shop - GIVE US A CALL before going onto the internet and writing something scathing that is nonfactual. WE STAND BY OUR WORK AND OUR HONESTY!!! And for a side note - none of the managers that were with us then even work for Dynamic Diesel, Inc. now.
