Closets By Design

It went real well. We contacted them a few months before the job took place. Steve came out and took measurements, and came up with an estimate. We were able to pick out our supplies. They sent out a 2 man crew, they said it would take about 2 days but ended up finishing up in 1 day which was a surprise. The cabinets matched perfectly, they cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy and it was a good experience.

Very well. Workers very tidy and fast . Pleased with result.

The garage door on one of the closets came off the hinge.  When I called them, a woman on the telephone argued that it was the wind that did it and that they were not responsible to fix it.  After a lot of discussion, where she was rude and arrogant, I agreed to pay for the workers to fix the door.  She then said I would have to pay cash prior to the workers coming out to the house.  This woman should have been fired!  I was the chief of police in Reno at that time and certainly would have honored any agreement.  But she treated me like a lowlife crook.
I then hired California Closets to come out and do additional work on the house.  Closets by Design lost about $10,000 worth of work because of that woman. 
Recently (2012) I received a call from them asking me if they could provide more service.  When I complained to the sales person on the phone, he said he gets complaints like this once in a while.
