Burnett Electric is phenomenal. The employees are awesome. This is a professional group of people. They know their stuff, they are expedient and clean up when they are done, each and every day. I would definitely not only use them again, but I have already referred them to others. Thanks guys.

Mike B. and Asa arrived promptly and began removing the outdated and dangerous wiring in the pump house.  Mike had to work in a very cramped and awkward position for a good portion of the rewire job, but he got it replaced with safe materials and it looks very neat.  He rewired and installed a new breaker panel, a new light fixture, a new receptacle removing the old light fixture & receptacle.  He and Asa replace the incorrect wiring that I had ran off of the pump house to a small shed.  They insured the safety of the wiring, receptacle and overhead lighting in the shed.  This was my second repair job with Burnett and they did a nice job once again.  They are polite, tidy and friendly.  Jim Burnett does the scheduling and he, too, is polite and friendly.  I will call on them again for any electrical work in the future. 

My friend and I installed a used telephone pole with a dusk-to-dawn LED fixture in the yard.  We wired the fixture down the pole to a receptacle then trenched to a nearby breaker box. Prior to our install Mike B. of Burnett Electric came out and gave us the information we needed to properly wire and trench.  They did not try to sell only their services or behave as though a homeowner doesn't  know what they are doing.  On 12/15/15 our work was done and it was time for Mike B. to return and connect everything.  He and his helper, Asa, did a very professional job.  Everything is neat, tidy and weatherproof.  From the initial call to the final work it was a pleasure dealing with Burnett. They either answer calls immediately or promptly return a call.  They are knowledgeable and safe; they do not cut corners.  Jim handled the scheduling and each of the two visits were right on time.  All staff  are polite, professional and friendly.  I am so happy to have been referred to Burnett Electric, Inc. and will call them again for electrical work.  I highly recommend this quality company.

I received many bids and decided on Burnett Electrical. They did not let me down. Each and every step of the way Jim and his crew went above and beyond. He and his crew is so meticulous. down to every little detail.
All of my electrical plates are straight, much time was spent on exactly where the lights would go. He also provided great advise when I was unsure. He and his crew is very honest and trustworthy.
I would highly recommend Burnett Electric for any job large or small. I will have him back for other electrical

We were very disappointed in this company and its principal, Jim Burnett. He had been recommended by our general contractor so we contacted him to do some preliminary work prior to starting our major remodel. The crew was there for three days. They completed installing the lighting in the crawl space in one day. It took nearly one and a half days for their journeyman to change two separate outdoor lights into a 3-way switch. This seemed to take an excessive amount of time and In doing this they damaged drywall unnecessarily.



After we saw that things were taking way too long we met with the owner and said that we wanted the current projects completed but we did not want to proceed with the additional jobs on our long list of work to be done. Mr. Burnett became very defensive and initially said they would just leave now with wires hanging out and the 3 jobs not finished. Later he reconsidered and agreed to at least finish the 3 jobs they had started. When we were working out the final bill the hours were wrong and they tried to bill us for hours that were not worked. We felt that the price was very high and the quality of the work not up to par.



Later we called our regular electrical company and the electrician stated that to change the two lights into a 3-way should have taken about 4 hours definitely not the day and a half it took by this company. In addition our regular electrician stated that the manner in which the 3-way was wired was and quot;not up to codeand quot;. Since the Burnett journeyman who did the work was a new employee we called the owner of the company to let him know the work was not acceptable and provide him an opportunity to come back and see for himself what had been done. If I owned a company and substandard work had been done by a new employee I would have appreciated to have the chance to know about the work and see it for myself. After all the company would be liable for a fire for work they had done. Not in this case. Mr. Jim Burnett did not return my call. I suppose he thought I was going to ask for a partial refund. This is not a sign of a reputable company.
