All of my electrical plates are straight, much time was spent on exactly where the lights would go. He also provided great advise when I was unsure. He and his crew is very honest and trustworthy.
I would highly recommend Burnett Electric for any job large or small. I will have him back for other electrical

After we saw that things were taking way too long we met with the owner and said that we wanted the current projects completed but we did not want to proceed with the additional jobs on our long list of work to be done. Mr. Burnett became very defensive and initially said they would just leave now with wires hanging out and the 3 jobs not finished. Later he reconsidered and agreed to at least finish the 3 jobs they had started. When we were working out the final bill the hours were wrong and they tried to bill us for hours that were not worked. We felt that the price was very high and the quality of the work not up to par.
Later we called our regular electrical company and the electrician stated that to change the two lights into a 3-way should have taken about 4 hours definitely not the day and a half it took by this company. In addition our regular electrician stated that the manner in which the 3-way was wired was and quot;not up to codeand quot;. Since the Burnett journeyman who did the work was a new employee we called the owner of the company to let him know the work was not acceptable and provide him an opportunity to come back and see for himself what had been done. If I owned a company and substandard work had been done by a new employee I would have appreciated to have the chance to know about the work and see it for myself. After all the company would be liable for a fire for work they had done. Not in this case. Mr. Jim Burnett did not return my call. I suppose he thought I was going to ask for a partial refund. This is not a sign of a reputable company.
