Baring Boulevard Veterinary Hospital

Total disclosure - I've been going to Baring for 28 years for all my dog issues. As always, my visit on Friday, July 1, was great. I made an appointment that morning and, even though the office was packed, got in within 5 minutes. Puddles (yes, that's her name) doesn't like the vet's office but Dr. Mike played with her while doing the exam, making her happy. She had to be knocked out but he said she would be ready for a pick up at 2:30. He called after the procedure to assure me she was fine and would be ready on time. Plus, they removed multiple foxtails from her paws. Great service for both the dog and her person.

They said that Kitty need dental work.  Her one tooth at least was infected and would have to be removed. They did not offer or recommend that she should be on antibiotics.  Back home Kitty would not eat or drink for three days.  She was hiding and would not come out to see us.  We got her to drink a little water.  She was drooling and having trouble breathing.  She was dying. We called them on 4/25/2016 and they said that they could not see her until the middle of May.  We explained that we think she was dying and needed to get in now.  They said sorry but they could not help.

I've been using them since 1997. I walked in as an emergency. It took me longer to get in because I wasn't an emergency. If I had an appointment they're very punctual.

We had been to another vet first who misdiagnosed the abscess as an abcess behind the eye. We then took her to a canine opthomologist who told us it was a mouth abscess and sent us to Baring. Our dog was in severe pain. They took us right in without an appointment and took care of our dog. They gave her pain meds and antibiotics. Since it was going into the July 4th holiday, they didn't want her to stay over the weekend, so they scheduked her surgery for the following Monday. They are very caring and take great care of the animals. We had a recheck two weeks later and they were just as friendly and caring. From the front desk staff to the Vet. Everyone clearly cares about animals!

I have got some cutie pets. I have a dog that has to have laser pain therapy every three weeks. They are wonderful. I have been going to Baring Boulevard Veterinary Hospital since 1997. When I start and I like somebody I stay. I like their gentleness with the animals. They are very, very good with the animals. Yes, my pets love them. They are pretty pricey.

There is a lot of vets in there and you see a different one every time. I understand why they do it, but they actually charge you while you are still in the examination room with your animal and you pay right then and there before ever go back out. However, the vets are nice enough and I am happy with what they do.
