It went terrible, and continues to this day. Jeff from Airhart never told me his last name, and does not have business cards. He slapped a sticker on my furnace with the company phone number. Jeff was sent out by the home warranty company to assess why my furnace wasn't working. I had another contracted replace the ancient thermostat and the furnace stopped working shortly thereafter. From the get go Jeff placed all blame on me, because of course a furnace thar is 10 years passed its useful life had nothing to do with it! Anyway, he came out no less than 5 times, fixing different parts, and never did get the thing to work. At long last he admitted the new thermostat wasn't the problem, but was unwilling to work with the home warranty company to get me a replacement furnace. Finally the home warranty company sent out another contractor who immediately recommended a new furnace. It was this contractor who told me that they get paid by the trip, and some are better at and quot;working the systemand quot; than others. Jeff was very unprofessional in all his dealings with me and I would never recommend him for any work.
