They showed up the first day 7/28/10 with all the materials. By 7/31/10 they were finished and wanted the final payment.I noticed when I was painting later that the tape was exposed in many areas. they used 2 men to texture. They both had different styles and they did not match each other.Fortunetly I was home and cought it in tme for them to fix it.Now, 1-10/10, I have noticed a 12 foot crack across the ceiling and a main seam does not match. Obviosly they did not put enough coats of mud or give enough time for the coats to dry.That was a lot of money to me. I should have gone to Angies list first.

"The member was showen a sample of the finish texture and approved it prior to application. He also walked through the job and approved it prior to, and upon payment. If there was any issue, -at that time-, I was not aware of it. The member has neglected to mention that my crew moved several pieces of plywood into the trusses above the ceiling for the member @ no charge, to him. Also that they are using the area above the ceiling for storage, the trusses are 24" on center, the ceiling was not engineered for this use. The crack described is a result of the weight stored thereinand the weight of the person moving around in the ceiling, Not faulty workmenship.
