Vandermark & Son Painting

After Kirk and his team painted our exterior home and fence, we had him paint our 3 car garage floor with an anti slip paint with speckles on another home we own and they are doing an excellent job. They are coming back on Monday to apply the sealer (had to wait for paint to dry). They even did a trash run on items we needed to get rid of. Wouldn’t hesitate to hire Vandermark and Son Painting. They are the best.

Kirk and his team painted the exterior of my home and did an excellent job. His bid was very fair and competitive and he included repairs. At the end of each day, they cleaned up. He responded to my texts immediately. Kirk was great to work with. He painted our neighbors home whom she has been using for years and wouldn’t use anyone else. He is the best!!

We have worked with this company since first arriving in Reno, 1993 Their work is always completed to perfection and in a timely manner. Staff is friendly and professional, as well as trustworthy. Highly recommended.

If it were 10 stars rating, we would give Kirk the owner 10 stars. It was the 2nd time I hired Kirk after the 1st time 10 years ago. I always requested a little more repairs and problems fixing. Kirk and his crew Juan were patient and courteous to solve all requests and exceed our expectations. I’ve already booked the 3rd time paint job with Kirk in 10 years repaint job. Haha. Excellent work, Kirk.

Perfect. This company has maintained and painted my decks for over 25 years. My 34 year old wooden decks are still beautiful. They have also painted the inside and exterior of my home for the same period. They go over and beyond and I am indeed grateful.

As always, Kirk Vandermark and his helper, Juan, do an outstanding job (he painted my house exterior 8 years ago and my deck this past summer). He is honest, dependable, professional, on time, and frequently offers to do little extras to make things easier and/or generally better for the customer. He is neat, works hard all day, does all the appropriate caulking and cleans the walls and baseboards before painting. He vacuumed the carpet and along the baseboards, so that the paint adhered better. He swept the hard surface floors and left my house cleaner and nicer than it's been in years. I will have him paint my house again as soon as it needs it. No one else will do!

It went beautifully. Kirk went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He did repairs as he went so that not only my deck but my house look great. He's skilled, dependable, communicative, helpful and so easy to work with. I'll definitely hire him again. He painted my house 8 years ago and after he power washed it this week, calked some areas that needed it and matched the color of the house so that the calked areas blend right in with the rest of the paint. He saw things that needed to be done and volunteered to take care of them. Any ideas I suggested he adopted and did that extra work. Now my whole backyard looks fresh and new! I paid more than the estimate because he did so much more than either of us envisioned at the beginning. It was well worth it.

Real pleasure to work with Kirk on getting our 2 story house painted. Very patient with our changing color selections and his great attention to doing a quality job made for a beautiful home we are very happy with!

Mr. Vandermark and crew did the best job I could imagine. We have a two story house built on a slope so just getting to the walls was quite difficult. We also have a front deck and a back balcony that was included in the job. We have been in our house over 20 years and have never had the whole thing painted, so there was a lot of scraping to be done. Well painted and site left impeccably clean after more than a week of painting. Our neighbors were so impressed they will be having Vandermark & Son for their house painting, too

Vandermark and Son painting service was absolutely amazing! There quality and attention to detail was impeccable. The price was great for a large two story compared to other companies in our area. Great customer service as far as helping my wife and I with color choices and repair options for stucco. We are looking forward to having them back to do the interior. Would definitely recommend them to a friend, and they have already scheduled my mother in law. Do your self a favor and go with Vandermark and Son, you will not regret it.

I am very satisfied with my cabinets. The Vandermark team did an excellent job. I highly recommend them for painting of kitchen cabinets. They also painted the baseboards in the kitchen and the door frame. My apologies to Vandermark and Son for taking so long to get this review posted. They did my paint job one day before the quarantine started. Thanks Vandermark and Son for doing an outstanding job!!!

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND VANDERMARK & SON PAINTING. Kurt and his helper, Juan, were on time, communication between myself and Kurt was always responsive regarding scheduling/mutual expectations, they cleaned up after their work, and the end result was everything I hoped for and more. In addition, the attention to detail was what any homeowner would want as well as the fee being very reasonable. My garage floor looks amazing and the accent wall work looks just like I was picturing for my new home. I feel very fortunate to have found them and would certainly have them do any work that I might need in the future.

The job was timely and a truly professional group of painters Mr. Vandermark knows his business. We have had many houses painted over the years and this job was the best. We were promised a time and they were right on target. The price was very reasonable. I wish I had met them 10 years ago!

Excellent. We used Mr. Vandermark 10 years ago to paint our house. Our paint job lasted 10 years. If he will have us we will hire him in another 10 years for our exterior paint job.

Having spent a lot of time trying to organize work on different home projects, I can't speak highly enough of how easy it was to work with Kirk Vandermark and his team! My home was desperately overdue for an exterior paint job, meaning that there was a lot of prep work to do. This was all included in the estimate, including the replacement of cracked siding tiles, and even though I started to wonder if there was more work than they originally expected the price never changed. Kirk was really patient and helpful when it came to choosing colors and very communicative via text message, and his workers were diligent with every detail, including helping me take down and then replace the swamp cooler. It's just too bad that I won't be needing another paint job any time soon, since I'd definitely hire them again!

Great! Job included pressure wash, stucco repair and spackling, painting walls, trim and garage doors. The crew was professional and very tidy.

The estimate to repair stucco cracks and repaint the entire house was accomplished on-time, with understanding of what we wanted, and was a reasonable price. When weather permitted, the work was done quickly at exactly the quoted price, with care to detail and by a considerate crew. In addition, the stucco guy they subcontracted with also did a great job. We absolutely would hire Vandermark & Sons again for any other painting work and have already recommended them to friends and a realtor. These guys deserve their "A" rating.

Kirk and crew did an amazing job on our home. We had the entire interior repainted including ceiling, walls, floor boards, doors and cabinets. They were very professional, timely, courteous and the workmanship was amazing. My home looks brand new!! Kirk went out of his way to help with replacing hinges, door knobs and even hanging a new chandelier for us. I would highly recommend Vandermark and Son for any painting job.
