They were an absolute disaster. They cost me nothing but money, ruined some of my furniture, destroyed some lamps, and charged me $5,300 to move four miles. It is under litigation right now. Without authorization they took another $1,300 out of my account. They did not arrive on time; they arrived at noon. Then it got dark and they couldn't do anything. When the cleaning people came the movers were still there. I had to be out of my home on the 18th and there were things I could not get done so people sued me. Eagle Van Lines is probably the worst. They are fly-by-night movers. I would not recommend them. In fact, I might still go to the Better Business Bureau about them because I don't have that kind of money anymore. I could not go into litigation with the other people because I did not have the money. The $5,300 charge was supposed to include moving me back into the house I am in and putting the furniture up. But then they went ahead and took another $1,300 out of my account. Visa is researching that to find out why they did it.
BBB Complaint Case# 11038626
Case opened on 11/03/2015, Silver Eagle Relocation has yet to respond to BBB in which they were supposed to respond in 14 days. Next month will make 1 year that I have been contacting Silver Eagle Relocation to replace the broken piece. During this time, Silver Eagle Relocation has yet to initiate contact with me for resolution. Next step is Small Claims Court which I have already filled out.
