Had service folks out on 4 different occasions. Each time service was on time, expertly done and fairly charged. Savage & Son plumbing tech are friendly, informative and expert at what they do. Company has been around for 5 generations and still providing good and prompt old-fashion customer service.

They did a great job and covered the hole back up well.

Great Mike knew exactly what to do.He replaced the overflow tank on the water heater and to be extra sure replaced the seats and washers on the faucet

I have not been real happy with them. I think they fixed it okay. They had to have a concrete subcontractor fix the concrete because it had to go to the street. I wasn't happy with the job the concrete company did. They didn't get back with me in a timely manner when I started complaining about it. It wasn't because of their plumbing but the concrete wasn't covered and started flaking. I finally had to talk to one of the top people. When they did come out they put a sealant on it and I thought that was a band aid approach. I have talked to other concrete people and they agreed it was a band aid. I am hoping the water main was done right considering the concrete was not done correctly. They had to put a whole line of grass in and they just threw in sod. My son had to dig it up and fix it.

They were very responsiveness and came right away and shut off the water to the entire house They isolate the leak and by mid afternoon the water was restored to the house They spent a considerable time to isolate and fid the leak with a lot of digging in both the front and back of the house the plumber fixed the leak but returned on the following 2 days to check on it to be sure it was OK
When the work was completed I checked everything and found they had not turned the valve at the curb on which means that the repair was not tested under full pressure .This means that there is question about the adequacy of the repair In addition they failed to fill the hole they dug up in the back

We had a fairly significant drip from a joint connected to a faucet in our laundry room that supplied water to our whole house humidifier. Our regular plumber, Rocket, wasn't available so we called another Angie's List plumber - Savage and Sons. They were polite on the phone and promptly showed up an hour after the call on a Saturday. The fellow spent a total of about 45 minutes or so replacing this tiny ring on the connection that was causing the issue. It was probably a $.10 part. Problem solved! I expected the call to cost in the neighborhood of $80 or so but wouldn't have been surprised if he charged around $100.00. What I wasn't expecting was a bill for double that. They were prompt, polite and seemed knowledgable but at those prices I can't see us EVER using them again.

We had some initial hesitation about dealing with such a large company, but we called smaller companies and found that they could not come for several days. The Savage people could have come the next day (we were tied up), so it was the following day.
Tom was great! He was punctual, and cleaned up after himself. He charged $80 and hour, but portal to portal, (sigh).He also chatted with my wheelchair-bound husband, but was still able to work quickly. We appreciated his professionalism, as well as his kindness!

Called about 12:45pm after discovering a leak under the kitchen sink. We were told that the plumber would call just before he'd arrive between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. At about 2:10, plumber called and said he would be at our house in a few minutes. Arrived about 2:20. Looked under sink and knew immediately what the problem was. Took about 15 minutes to repair. It was wonderful that we were able to get the problem fixed in less than 3 hours, especially when we had called someone else and we were told they wouldn't be able to come for 6 days. This was the first time we used Savage and Sons, and we will definitely use them again.
