Jeff and his crew were responsive, professional and punctual. Jeff helped me choose pavers that go great with the house. He added lights as an added project. The driveway demolition went well with great clean up. Jeff listened and addressed my concerns about the drainage of water under the driveway. The pavers have been installed since June 2017 and look great. They have not shifted as I feared with the clay soil. I would recommend Jeff and his crew for any paver installation project.

We were blessed beyond words to meet Jeff, the owner of Rock Solid Landscape, LLC. We were at a loss for what we wanted even though we had looked on the internet and books for ideas. We interviewed many sources and attempted to elicit suggestions of what they felt might be possible. It felt as though they were intimidated to throw ideas out on the table. When we met Jeff, he was very respectful and listened to our ideas of a retaining wall and dry creek etc. Then, after listening to our blinded suggestions, he suggested eliminating the retaining wall due to the cost and lack of appeal it would bring to the finished product. We were surprised to hear someone eliminate a suggestion that could put profit in his pocket but that's just how Jeff is...his priority is to feel-out the customer and find a win-win solution. His employees were fabulous, hard-working individuals who were very respectful and always on time. I was especially impressed by their dedication in making suggestions that improved the finished product after first asking for our approval. They strategically placed the trees in areas that would encourage privacy for the back yard and kept us informed of the situation. We had a cracked water pipe that they were able to correct and we witnessed the diversity of their skills and capabilities with much appreciation. Jeff was sensitive to our economic boundaries in terms of what we wanted to spend and we would recommend him without reservation to anyone who wants to cut through the fat of dealing with individuals who attempt to fake-it to make-it. Jeff has a natural talent for color schemes and taking the canvas that is provided to him and creating an eye-appealing area that can be utilized for a personal sanctuary or for larger groups and gatherings. We now consider Jeff a friend and will always be grateful for his dedication to our needs. We have him and his crew already in mind for another project. Thank you Jeff!!!

Rock Solid Landscape did an absolutely phenomenal job for me. I could not be happier. I completely landscaped the backyard of my new-construction home and redid the original front yard landscaping which was installed by the builder. Rock Solid Landscape took my landscaping plan and made it reality to an extremely high degree of excellence. Jeff Steckline is the owner of Rock Solid Landscape. You will not find a more affable, accommodating and customer service-oriented contractor. Period. Finding someone like Jeff in the construction and landscaping business can be very challenging. His dedication to every aspect of the job and to the customer's satisfaction are unparalleled. Jeff "owns" the work he does and he is an extremely knowledgeable contractor who is also very loyal to and protective of his employees. Rock Solid Landscape is the quintessential landscaping and hardscaping business. Jeff's crew, Juan-Carlos and Poncho, are the artisans who executed my plan. They seemed to have a 6th sense about what I was trying to create and completely understood my very detailed HOA-approved landscaping proposal. Their work is amazing. These individuals are the hardest working people I have ever met in my life. They worked non-stop, six days a week, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM every day for twenty-eight straight days in summer heat and they did it with a smile. Their dedication, efficiency, customer service and work ethic are simply unparalleled. They are very experienced individuals who have been in this business a long time and it shows. I am truly blessed by their efforts. Wonderful people. I discovered a surprisingly derogatory Angie's List review for Rock Solid Landscape which is completely inconsistent with my personal experience. Strangely, that review was written five years after the work was performed so I questioned the legitimacy and veracity of its content and I am very glad I did that.

Amazing! From our very first conversation I wanted Jeff and Rock Solid Landscaping to be the ones to remodel our yard. I received estimates and designs from five other landscapers, and Jeff was the only one that really listened to our wants/needs/ideas and had the ability to bring them to life, as well as respected our budget. He was very patient with us every step of the way and helped guide our decisions and provided creative solutions to some challenging issues with our yard. His crew is fantastic. They are incredibly hardworking, perfectionistic, polite and genuinely seem to care about the project. The worksite was left clean and orderly every day and Juan Carlos answered all my questions. The project was a long 5 weeks, but they finished on time even with some unexpected delays and problems cropping up. The final result absolutely exceeded all my expectations and we are totally in love with our new yard. It is like an entirely new house. We've already got Jeff and his crew lined up for next Spring to tackle the front of the house. I cannot recommend Rock Solid Landscaping enough!

Nightmare. Still dealing with the problems. Plants brought from SoCal and planted in December, many did not come up in the spring but "plant guarantee only good for 6 weeks". At this time only about 20% of the plants are still alive and most of those are struggling. Called in an arborist to try to save the trees, very critical of the way they were planted. Irrigation system had to be completely overhauled as it continuously had leaks and areas without enough flow to water the plants. We do have some lawn which we have been unable to keep healthy, our lawn guy found out the sod was laid directly on the hard clay without any topsoil. I do compliment them on the paver work, well done and attractive.

Everything was great and installed perfectly.

Jeff Steckline responded to initial call for a quote within 24 hours.  He came to the house two days later and went over our plans thoroughly.  He submitted a bid with 48 hours.  The price as quoted was in line with three other landscapers, but what set Jeff apart was his honesty.  We had two ideas that, as Jeff explained, were not good and would cause future problems.  None of the other contenders mentioned it.  Jeff always responded to my calls or emails very promptly.
Jeff's crew arrived on time and always worked very hard.  They were really good about asking questions to insure that everything was done to my satisfaction.  I will say that Juan Carlos, Julian and Pancho are artists when it comes to laying down pavers.  The walkways and patio are beautiful and we are getting lots of compliments.  I'm very confident that the installation will give us many years of enjoyment.

It went fast. We called, he met us at the rock nursery and we picked what we wanted. Gave him an idea of what we wanted done in the yard and in a very short time it was ready for inspection.

Everything went great! Started with doing a small patio but as we spoke we expanded the job. Couldn't be more happy. Changed the curb appeal of the house and much more functional. Didn't feel pressure to make the changes was just so happy with the progress decided to move ahead. Jeff and his team gave me some great design ideas. They were here when they said they would be, and communicated very well. I will use them again for the backyard in the future.

The staff showed up right on time. Staff very accommodating, started on start date and finished on time. And in budget to the penny. Cleaned up and left the extra bricks which I asked if they could do. I could not ask for a better experience.

They did a very nice job. They just worked very well on their own. They just came in and took care of things and dealt with two dogs that we kept them in close, but they did not let him out or anything. They were easy to deal with because as I said they adjusted to our circumstances. Overall, they were really quite expensive. They did a good job.

It was a very good experience. They did fine work. They did a professional job. The only problem was a little clean up. They left a couple of things they were supposed to remove.

Overall, the project went very well. Jeff and crew showed up on time, worked quickly, followed the rules of the HOA, and delivered a beautiful project.

Had numerous landscapers come over and bid my job, only one company was able to beat price; however, after talking with Jeff I felt Rock Solid would do a better job. They were ready to go a couple of days later, and copmleted project very quickly. Paid 50% at start and remaining balance upon completion. Also did a quality control walkthrough afterwards with me onsite at which time he had a worker come over and redo some drip line. Overall experience was very good.

Jeff (owner) worked with me on developing a coherent plan to re-do the weed-infested, worn out landscape at a house that I recently purchased. When we had a good plan in place, his partner, Matt, came out with a 4-man crew and did an impressive job scrapping off and removing the top cover (old lawn, rocks, railroad ties, etc.) and replacing it with a stylish zeriscape that looks clean and spacious, all in 3 days. The project was a bit pricey, but well worth it. These guys know what they're doing and they're easy to work with.

Professional, timely, fair and pleasant. Rock Solid completely redid our large front yard. The result brings oohs and aahs from everyone who passes by. Really cared about their work. Handpicked the boulders that created wonderful character.

For years, I had been contemplating redoing my backyard. I then saw the work that Rock Solid Landscape had done on a friend's yard and I was very impressed. I still obtained bids from three different landscape companies in order to get the best value for my money. I decided to go with Rock Solid Landscape because they offered a very fair price and I developed a rapport with the co-owner, Jeff Steckline, who estimated the job himself. I cannot say enough about how happy I am that I decided to go with this company. The quality of their work was outstanding and they really paid attention to detail. Further, they completed the project on time, were very responsive to my questions/concerns, and offered quality personal service. In fact, one of the owners was on site at all times. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this company.
